Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

i have a 2021 stinger 3.3 AWD i recieved and installed the Lozic ecu and awd tune a few days ago. i also ordered the tcu tune but im thinking i didnt click the right shift type since the car would not go into gear. so i had to put the stock tcu back in for now. i will say running just 93 octane with bms intakes, hks plugs, and big mouth snorkels. the car really came to life i can be crusing down the road around 30 mph on dry warm day and punch it it will break all 4 tires loose. i am very pleased with it. Badtraindriver its nice to see another stinger with the same tune in ohio as well.

Hey Williamsj41,

Just for clarification purposes, I have a 2019 Genesis G70.

Concerning the TCU, I left the already populated "E Shifter". What did you choose? Have you been in contact with Lozic, and if so, what was his response?

Sounds like your car is running great, otherwise!!

What part of Ohio? I'm north of Columbus, in Powell, FYI.

That is odd and the first I've heard of that. A couple questions - 1) Did you pull the battery when changing it out? 2) Have you tried again? The TCU may not have sync'd properly to the ECU.

nice looking G70. i live around portsmouth OH about 2 hours south right on 23. i selected e-shifter because i was not quite sure. but i jut have the GT model which is drive by cable so i am assuming that i should have chose h-matic. i did get the 1.5 bar on ecu and 2 on awd and 3 on tcu. yes i did pull the battery when i installed. i have not tried it again and put all of them on at the same time without very much time to trouble shoot. it was midnight the day before i had to be at work. i will get some time this week to mess with it again. i did contact Lozic i have not hear back from him yet but it was a weekend and we do have a 14 hour difference it does usually take him a day or two to get back to me. he did inform me that the tune was good for E80 i have not tried it yet.

I guess to be more specific when i moved my shifter from park i could feel it engage to Reverse. But where it shows P, R, N, D on the dash it would never change from Park and if i gave it gas it would not move in reverse or forward. It did not do any damage when i put the stock TCU back on it all operated perfectly. I do have a JB4 and draggy just have not used the draggy yet. and i now keep JB4 on map 0 for logging. and it does hit 22psi with no WMI or CPI.

You can also launch off of boost without brake snip mod at whatever rpm you would like. if you value your transmission i would probably suggest not going to crazy with it.

Small world, I grew up in Lucasville, spending ten years there during my school days, graduating from Valley High School. I still remember cruising up and down Chillicothe street, man that was back in the late eighties! My parents still live in Lucasville.

I'm interested in hearing what Lozic days about the TCU. Please keep us informed!

No kidding I went to valley high school until my sophomore year and graduated from minford. Yes I will keep you informed about the tcu.

I do still drive through lucasville almost every day for work. As of now I have the only ceramic silver stinger in the area. Actually I have not seen another stinger in the area yet. I do get alot of looks tho.

Concerning the E80, did you request something special in the tune for this? E-85 is everywhere up here, and I'm thinking that might be my next step. Also thinking of getting a JB4 for logging purposes.

I did not request anything special from him but i did ask if the tune was compatable with WMI or E30. His response back wasScreenshot_20210503-193549_Gmail.webp

I did ask him if it would be ok to run just full E85 then if E80 works. But I am waiting on that reply.

Yeah, Lozic has been busy tuning cars for the Korean Super race Championship and Nexen Tire Cup.

How is the power of the Lozic compared with the JB4?

Well i can say from the butt dyno that i have ran JB4 up to map 5 with 116 boostane in it and even up to map 4 with e30 mix and it is really quick. but the lozic is alot faster. but lozic is not a piggy back its is an actual flashed oem unit. and you can run the jb4 still for logging or to do fine tuning with WMI or CPI control and ewg control things like that.

It may be that the TCU you were shipped is bad or corrupt. Lozic advised that the TCU cannot be reprogrammed. It's a one time flash. Not like the ECU where there is a password to reprogram.

That is not good I hope I don't have to buy a new one. I know when I opened the package the box the tcu was in the silica gel packets that come with it was all busted and in the prongs of the tcu. The rest of the packages was in good shape.

I would try it again and then see what he says. He acts in good faith.

Is that the ECU tune that allows that or the AWD tune? I thought that it was the TCU tune that allowed you to do that?
