Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Dragy runs show 0-60 in 3.8 or better without the TCU. 1/4 is high 11's. Both of these numbers will get better soon as there are several people who have just got their ECUs and some people are getting both ECU and TCU. Stay tuned!
Slip I would appreciate if you have a nice stretch were you could record a before and after 1/4 mile (stock vs ECU) . It would be great two see all the metrics for those two runs 60ft 0-60, MPH... (posting the draggy slip).

While I appreciate your average after numbers provided, I will be staying skeptical until I see before/after runs with actual Dragy prints with all the details such as slop etc...

Seeing the improvements achieved from a member will surely encourage more to go this route which will also help to have more data to also back the claims.

On a side note 0-60 mph, 0-100 KMPH, 0-60mph 1 ft rollout can vary greatly like 0,5s difference so it is important to mention which one was really being measured. Also it is not a very good measure to me because it is not long enough and environment can make it vary greatly compared to 1/4 mile and final MPH which together give a good idea of car performance.

I hear you, but that doesn’t tell us much about how the engine is running.

Drag slips are fine and dandy, and for some, that’s all they need. But, I’d like to see a before and after dyno run, on the same dyno, with EGTs and AFR measured. Or someone who gets this new tune and has a JB4 keeps it on Map0 so we can get some logs to see what’s going on.

I know things are still evolving, and they’re getting into more people’s hands, so I’ll follow the thread for more details as they emerge.

I tend to prefer a before and after draggy full 1/4 mile details vs an actual dyno to judge the performance improvement of a tune but I agree with you that seeing how the engine is doing during those run like you said would be great to ensure the tune is running safe.

Just to clarify people with JB4 and this ECU tune should run JB4 in the logging active only map (Map0 + logging) and not MAP1 which will increase boost over the ECU Tune!!!

Thanks for that. I keep mine on Map 7 so I get a bit confused thinking about the others.

Understandable. This is new and people are cautious. I was as well. The 0-60 of 3.8 doesn't include rollout, so it's 3.5 with rollout. I can't find a spot where I can do a 1/4 mile run around here, so I hope someone else will have those results one of these days. I've done a fair bit of logging with JB4 on map 0 and AFR is pretty much flat at 12 through the run. Terry burger has reviewed a few Lozic logs already and thought they were good to add additional boost (1-2psi) on Map6 if someone wanted even more go. The standard 91-93 octane tune tops out at 1.5bar

Interesting, 22psi is higher than expected especially for a tune that doesn't require meth.

The Lap3 Stg 2.5 peaks at 20psi and requires meth.

That or aux fueling with a nice E blend

Received ECU and installed today. Liked how easy it installed. Taking it easy till my HKS plugs come in. So far impressions ECO is like a Camry XSE v6. COMFORT a little bump over stock, I would say like map 1 JB4 but very smooth.
As I said taking it easy but SPROT mode LIKE A F-ing ROCKET.

I got soft popcorn and I was worried it would be annoying. Sport exhaust valve open burbles and pops more so with manual mode 3rd gear. Comfort mode same but very short . Exhaust valve closed barely hear.

I still have my BMS Petal tuner just turned down 3 clicks. When my plugs get here going to do a few launches. In the mean time saving for TCU tune.
Any issues with the Tuned ECU or CEL since your install?

Nope. Still on stock plugs mostly comfort mode. Plugs arrive tomorrow.

How does the transmission feel now with the Lozic EZU, do you plan on purchasing the tuned TCU. Sorry, with all the questions; have been emailing Lozic and about ready to purchase, but want to have a better feel from forum members that actually have it installed and running.

The transmission feels good. Actually better and I don't know why. I don't think the ECU affects the trans. But definitely a good smooth feel so far. And yes eventually I will get the TCU & probably the AWD tune also. A few others also have tune maybe they will give their opinions.

What is the purpose of the AWD tune?

I have the TCU on the way. Should see it next week. I will report back how it feels.

Thanks, I saw that. Specifically:
AWD
* Torque distribution by difference in speed between front and rear 0-3

My question is - what does it actually DO? Does it react faster to slippage/loss of torque than currently? Does it allow you lock in 30-70 or 50-50 or 0-100 distribution? Switch on the fly? Can I throw an OEM LSD into my '19 GT1 AWD?

AFAIK, the OEM system also distributes torque based on differences in speed. I'm not an expert in all things AWD, but I know something about it, having previously owned a Subaru Legacy GT wagon for 14 years. These words don't tell me why I want this, or where it would help - for drifting? 1/4 mile? Racetrack? Snow? Gravel?

Just ordered ecu/tcu for rwd 1.7~

What ECU options did you pick. And what are options for TCU?
I have them doing a comfort mode with no meth and sport to run meth with pop bangs the whole shebang

What options to choose on TCU?
