Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Is it possible to get the tune without the popcorn sound? I already like my exhaust set up and don’t need any additional sounds. I have a couple of other mods I’m still in the process of getting first but am reviewing this thread to possibly add this tune down the road.
absolutely, there's an option in the sheet to select what you want at certain RPM's or turn it off all together

I messaged him yesterday and he quoted me $1,500 for TCU+AWD
AWD module is $650. it is a completely separate module that performs other functions discussed in this thread. Lap3 does not offer it.

Thanks for the quick response. Do you have or know where to get the order sheet to look at the various options? Thx again

Help me understand for 91 octane candadian fuel what kind of times and feel can I expect from just the ecu tune, then please help me comprehend what I would gain from an added awd add then a tcu add. What kind of 1/4 and 0-60 can I expect when only having bms filters and bola catback.
Is it a big enoug gain from my JB4 Which is limited to map to add best with the fuel quality I have?

I have a Lozic 1.3Bar tune, which I specifically asked for to make sure our CDN 91 octane was suitable. Not too sure what it translates to in HP/TQ but according to Dragy I see pretty consistent 0-60 times of 3.8s. The TCU tune will make shifting more aggressive and faster, which again lowers your times. AWD tune is for when you are putting down a lot of power and need the transfer from the rears to the fronts to occur quicker to maintain traction.

In terms of a comparison to JB4.. The largest difference is the removal of torque limiters on launch. So you get a 7.5PSI launch. Another advantage is that spark plugs don't need to be gapped, though you really need to be using HKS. Lastly, based on my logging it would seem more power can be made on an ECU tune for a given octane as compared to a piggy back. JB4 has it's advantages though too. Quick map switching, constant improvement, price, support and more.. Both top tier solutions.

Hope that helps.

On my official run I'm stripping all seats besides drivers and getting new rims and ps4s will shed 73 lbs rotational weight and 160 extra lbs of static weight

I’m looking forward to seeing the slips. It’s going to be glorious.

I think BMW guys can optimize TCU as it is the same ZF gearbox that BMW use. Should be several in US and also in EU that can adjust these small things like shift rpm, launch and also tourque tabell and pressure in what gearbox can do safe. They probably have test the limits with more powered BMW´s.

Anyone asked the BMW guys?

the 8spd automatic in Kia/Hyundai vehicule is built buy Hyundai and have nothing to do with the ZF8 in BMW, Audi, Chrysler etc....

The Hyundai 8 spd is a great transmission maybe not yet at the level of the ZF8 but still very good performer.

So Lozic, Lap3 etc cannot benchmark the BMW guys like you said but hopefully they are able to tune the Kia/Hyundai unit to perform even closer to the ZF8.

lol
