Lozic ECU - Stock Stinger

Thanks for the response! I reached out to lozic and he said pops and bangs would be no problem even tho I have my cats. Not sure if he’s just trying to make a sale lol but a handful of ppl told me to avoid pops & bangs and to only stick to gurgles. Since we don’t have 93 octane here I was gonna stick to 91.

He must limit power even in pops and bangs for it be specifically safe on a bone stock stinger right

Go for all burbles(bubbles) as he likes to put it lol Lozic is a good dude, he would tell you straight up what you should get and not. Avoid pops and bangs imho. Though I do have (1) pop selected after letting off gas on a pull.

Since you only have 91, Id go with 1.3 bar or 1.4. You can always re-send and get revised tunes quick if any issues arise.

Appreciate it man! This helps a lot really! Other than the ecu what else do you have done to your car?

Simple bolt ons, catback/intakes and lozic tcu tune.

Your next go to should be the tcu tune along with intakes to let it breath better.

Since he does revisions I’ll definitely be doing more mods down the road after the ECU. The TCU will definitely be on my list as well

I have pops and bangs, just the type A so it isn’t as annoying as the B.

What's the difference between type A and type B?
A is more gradual, not as poppy. B is off the too loud as can be, loud pops and bangs.

Umm let’s see…

BMS OCC
BMS FMIC
Plugs and coils
Velossa Tech Lit Snorkels
K&N Cai intakes
JB4 for logging

I think that’s it for performance
Wow your car must be a monster of its own !! Kinda iffy about getting that ECU first for my car. Only because I don’t have snorkels/ intakes for more air flow. Although I can prevent my cats from burning up with just burbles, I’m worried about keeping temps down.

Haha she does well for sure. You don’t neeeeeed snorkels or intakes, but you will neeed plugs and maybe coil packs. What tune you thinking of throwing in?

Alright, so Im gonna jump in here. Over on the Lozic Tune thread I am pretty active and talk to him almost daily about various things. I love my lozic tune and it is fantastic, but before you jump on board, make sure you have a way to read ignition timing. Typically a JB4 can do this, but that can be expensive as it can control a lot more than just logging. If you want a device that can strictly do logging, you will need to download an app called "car scanner" to your iPhone or android device, its picture is a blue background with a white engine, kind of like the twitter logo. That will allow you to read most of the information that the JB4's can through the OBD2 port, and will allow you to send logs to Lozic to make revisions/changes if necessary down the line.

I do want to say, that most people usually have to make 2-3 revisions with a lozic tune, as his tunes are a little bit aggressive compared to others when it comes to running purely on pump gas. I'm convinced that the gas he has over in Skorea is Much better quality than what we have in NA, which is what allows him to do so.

Doing a revision is super easy, all you have to do is take a few Logs of WOT (Wide open throttle) from 30-80ish) and he will know what to do. You just have to ask him to make change X/Y/Z and he will do it until the car is running the way you want it. He will keep sending you ECU's till you have the right setup, then he will send you a flat rate shipping label to send the remaining ones back to him. Doing an ECU swap is super easy as well, and can be done in under 5 minutes. (Ive timed myself doing it from start to finish in 4 minutes and 23 seconds to be specific)

For context here, I am on revision 5 of my lozic tune, but that is only because my state has Notoriously bad Gas quality, and I bought my tune used, which was a mistake in hindsight.

Lozic's customer service is second to none, and he will answer any and all questions you have without fail, No matter the time of day. I swear he never sleeps haha.

If you have any other questions, you should head over to the Lozic ECU+TCU+AWD Tune Thread and post them over there as we have a pretty good crowd of experienced people, or you can DM me if you would like and I can help you out, as I consider myself pretty Knowledgeable with his ECU.

Lozic did mention that plugs were needed! But if I were to go through with it I’d get the lower 91 oct tune with just burbles. I don’t want to be mixing anything just yet. Plus his price includes a whole new ecu, that way if I ever wanna go back to stock I can just swap it out with the old one.

Como concigo la ecu de lógica. A que dirección?
