Alright, so Im gonna jump in here. Over on the Lozic Tune thread I am pretty active and talk to him almost daily about various things. I love my lozic tune and it is fantastic, but before you jump on board, make sure you have a way to read ignition timing. Typically a JB4 can do this, but that can be expensive as it can control a lot more than just logging. If you want a device that can strictly do logging, you will need to download an app called "car
scanner" to your iPhone or android device, its picture is a blue background with a white engine, kind of like the twitter logo. That will allow you to read most of the information that the JB4's can through the OBD2 port, and will allow you to send logs to Lozic to make revisions/changes if necessary down the line.
I do want to say, that most people usually have to make 2-3 revisions with a lozic tune, as his tunes are a little bit aggressive compared to others when it comes to running purely on pump gas. I'm convinced that the gas he has over in Skorea is Much better quality than what we have in NA, which is what allows him to do so.
Doing a revision is super easy, all you have to do is take a few Logs of WOT (Wide open throttle) from 30-80ish) and he will know what to do. You just have to ask him to make change X/Y/Z and he will do it until the car is running the way you want it. He will keep sending you ECU's till you have the right setup, then he will send you a flat rate shipping label to send the remaining ones back to him. Doing an ECU swap is super easy as well, and can be done in under 5 minutes. (Ive timed myself doing it from start to finish in 4 minutes and 23 seconds to be specific)
For context here, I am on revision 5 of my lozic tune, but that is only because my state has Notoriously bad Gas quality, and I bought my tune used, which was a mistake in hindsight.
Lozic's customer service is second to none, and he will answer any and all questions you have without fail, No matter the time of day. I swear he never sleeps haha.
If you have any other questions, you should head over to the Lozic ECU+TCU+AWD Tune Thread and post them over there as we have a pretty good crowd of experienced people, or you can DM me if you would like and I can help you out, as I consider myself pretty Knowledgeable with his ECU.
