Got them in , took some pics along the way so I'll do a little write up later and shoot a nighttime shot for you Sal .Cool. If you do, can you get us a good picture of the back from 20 feet or so away? At night?
Excellent write up , now I dont need to do mine Thanks !I picked up the Sylvania 921 LEDs from Walmart for $14, they fit perfectly. To install them, pop the covers in the hatch, disconnect the wires, undo the 6-10mm bolts, 3 per side. Carefully pull the entire light assembly out and down. If you look in your owners manual, it gives directions as well. The bulbs are tight fit going in and out, not a lot of extra wire when twisting the socket. On re-assembly be gentle and work the sides in first on the light assembly, once sides are in, push gently on and click in the center part. Now is your chance to reconnect the harnesses and test your bulbs before buttoning everything up. Put your 6 nuts back on, and replace the covers.

That sounds like a big enough difference to me!I would say that the night light is at least double the old stock bulbs
They have no issues when installed properly , had mine now for several months , work great !Excuse my ignorance in this topic, but if all other lights in my Stinger are LED’s then why did they fit standard bulbs in the reversing lights?
Will changing them out create a problem/fault? I’ve been told on modern cars this can create irreversible faults in the electrical system due to voltage drop.
Thanks for the reply, may look into a pair for mine, reversing up my drive is dark & current bulbs don’t really cut it, LED’s should do the trick. They have no issues when installed properly , had mine now for several months , work great !
@R Stinger GT For the LED turn signal equipped cars the reverse Bulb will be a 921. Check the how to link below.
Thanks @robz32, so based on your explanation it should be a safe option to buy CANbus ready bulbs to eliminate the possibility of warnings/faults, correct? The canbus ready LEDs are compatible with vehicles that detect when a light bulb goes out. The system works via detection of bulb resistance. Since LED bulbs have a lower ohm reading than regular halogen bulbs, non canbus ready LEDs tend to trigger the warning, when these replace the factory halogen.
Vehicles that are not equipped with such system can technically use both regular and canbus ready LED bulbs without issue.
