So I feel I'm working on a good deal...
GT2 RWD
36/12,000
MSRP $50330
Discount $6,068
Military and Lease Cash ($6500 + $400) = $6900
Pre-Delivery $699
Appearance Fee $1895 (they won't budge)
PTA Fee (new Tag) $98
Tag/Reg: $152
7% Tax
Leasehackr says it should be <$540 even with tax yet they are saying it's going to be $616 with tax. Waiting on RV and MF (I used 53 and .002 as a guess). What am I missing?

www.leasehackr.com/calculator?make=Kia&msrp=50330&sales_price=46156&months=36&mf=.00200&dp=0&doc_fee=80&acq_fee=699&taxed_inc=6900&untaxed_inc=0&rebate=0&resP=53&reg_fee=152&sales_tax=7&memo=&monthlyTax_radio=true&miles=12000&msd=0

You are getting 6K off the MSRP? I've been watching this forum for a while and haven't heard of anyone getting that much off the MSRP. That's almost 8%??

I suppose it's not really 6K as there's an add on 1895 for the appearance fee.

Yep, it's a one off that wouldn't be replicated...long story.

I've seen up to 10% off by a member here. GT2 AWD for $47,100.

52% residual on a GT2 RWD for 3/36k
.00181 MF for top tier 1-3 credit.
.00202 MF for tier 4
.00242 MF for tier 5
.00282 MF for tier 6
.00301 MF for bottom tier 7 credit.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
They are swearing it's 217, which I'm going to challenge...I plan to buy it out right away anyway so not that hung up on the MF.

Should have mentioned I have Tier 1 credit.
My napkin calculations are this:
$40,205-$26,171/36 = 389
$40,205+$26171 x .00217 = 144
Total 533
$533 x 1.07 = $570

If buying out, why do you care? Only the Adjusted Cap Cost of $40,205 (using your number) is all that matters??

0.00217 is for 48m. I just got my GT2 RWD for $570m+tax on a 48m/10k with basically nothing down.

Congrats!

I was just quoted, $562/month after taxes on a 3yr/36k lease w/$0 down for a GT2 RWD.
:rofl::D:rofl:
If you can really get those numbers go sign the paperwork right now!!!

I sold cars for years and know they gave you the “let them walk” numbers nobody can meet. Without even running those numbers through a finance calculator yet I know that would be “thousands” under invoice! I’m sorry to burst your bubble but no dealer is going to lose that much on a Stinger... Go read others posts on actual deals people got and you’ll see those number are almost $100/m off. Dealers play these “games” all the time and unfortunately it gives false hope to innocent people that don’t know any better...But good luck on your search and if anyone will get close to those numbers BUY IT on the spot!!!;)

I got this quote from Julio Lopez at Jim Marsh Kia in Las Vegas...

GT2 RWD
$50,100 MSRP
$45,574, sales price (9% off)
12,000 miles/yr
36 month lease
$0 down
.00181 money factor
$6,100 lease cash
52% residual
$562-Month after taxes/fees
$1,600 drive-off

Unfortunately that was a week ago and have sold this particular car.

Jim Marsh Kia had/have a few other Stingers well below MSRP.
Including a...
Premium for $35,700
GT for $38,396
GT1 for $41,574
GT2 AWD for $47,670 (Which is close to $47,100. The lowest I've seen on this forum)

When it comes to car deals, everyone wants to show off how great they were in getting a "steal." I really don't take what I read seriously unless I see a contract in writing signed. Hence why I initially posted my contract for everyone to see. Not because I wanted to show off but I wanted people see what "real" numbers looked like. Did I get the best deal? Not in a long shot. Did I get a deal I was happy to pay for?

Look at my sig.

I hate to agree with this but have no choice. My dealer "agreed" to all kinds of numbers but when the contract was printed...not so much. Needless to say i walked.

Using the values above, however, you could have had a sub 40K adjusted cap cost for use on an immediate buyout...assuming the contract actually reflected the numbers above.

Vegas isnt too bad of a drive for me so i may have to look at this dealer.

Cheers

You’re basically proving my point and exactly what I mean by “games”...

The bait & switch is the oldest trick in their book. Talk is cheap and they will quote anything online or over the phone to get people to come in. Like other people have said the only real numbers are the ones written on the signed contract... Right now $630-$650m is invoice price on a RWD GT2 for 36m/30k with only first payment & DMV fees at signing. That’s a great deal and think it may be a long time before anyone sees much better than that. The only way I was able to get $600m tax-in was keeping it for 48m which may not even be long enough! Lol:rofl::D

9% off is not that great of a deal when it comes to buying a new car and 9% off quite obtainable when buying a new Stinger. You just have to be determined and patient.

We have members on this forum that bought their Stinger for 10%+ off MSRP.

What is invoice on a GT2 RWD?

49K and change. The dealer showed me the printout. Can't remember the actual figure. It was something like 2500-3000 off MSRP.

As soon as I walked in, he gave me 1500 off MSRP without even asking. I told him i've been offered, Invoice, and he said he'd match and printed the invoice screen for me. Told me those are his hard numbers and he can't go below invoice.
