Lap3 FTW

Just ordered my lap3 stage 1.5 tune today this morning. Super stoked. As I was comparing other tunes the thing that won me over was the reliability factor and the set it and forget it factor. Can’t wait until it arrives .

Just received my Lap3 Stage 1.5 ECU yesterday! Installed last night. Car fired up perfectly on the first go! I ended up taking a late drive because I couldn't wait any longer. MY OH MY!! IDK what took me so long to buy. This tune truly wakes up the car.

I can only imagine what stage 2.5 can do with the CPI kit running E60 fuel. (Im personally taking that route since E85 is readily available where I am & I have kids so WMI is not in the question)

I will 100% be purchasing the TCU tune before the year is out.

Mine shipped out in exactly 2 weeks from the order date.

Took 4 days to arrive to my house (would've been 2 days if USPS didn't mark it as delivered but didn't actually deliver it on that date)

Ah okay, just to confirm it took 4 days to arrive from Korea correct? That seems pretty damn fast haha.
Also, I appreciate all the information! I'm about to hit 2 weeks on the 15th of this month (ordered on the 1st) so hopefully I get an email informing me that it's been shipped.
How are you liking the tune so far? I've heard that the throttle response is greatly improved and that it's a lot smoother.

Tune did not come from Korea, it's coming from Aldie, VA.

As far as the tune itself, I love it! Only wish that I bought it sooner. The power difference from stock is night and day. Installed mine last night and have been cheesing since then lol I'll for sure be purchasing the TCU tune within the next couple of weeks.

Already upgraded the spark with HKS plugs 2 weeks ago; gapped them too. & I’m not logging right now. Don’t find it necessary for me at the moment; if I find a good deal on a used one I’ll jump on it

Hell yea. Once the information about the new HPFP Kit from BMS is released I think I'm going to take that route then upgrade to stage 2.

I would highly recommend logging to see how the car is adjusting to the tune . Not throwing anyone under the bus but that’s where I fell short. Possibly could have prevented this situation of needing a new short engine block. Would hate for it to happen to anyone else.

Wouldn’t fuel tables need to be changed in the ECU itself though for extra fueling purposes? Also not 100% sure how it’ll work with the flex fuel sensor but I guess we’ll find out soon
