Let us know what you think... I've been running the LOZIC TCU tune w/the jb4 map3 for a while now, and I'm still going back and forth between the LOZIC 1.4BAR and LAP3 stage 1.5LAP 3 ECU, stage 2,5 will be delivered tomorrow wednesday. Exiting!

Interested to see some numbers from Corleone1 also. If you already have the TCU, I’m struggling to understand how a
ECU Tune, with potentially less boost, can make you any faster than a JB4 with Meth setup. Your TCU tune is giving you boost at launch, so basically a brake snip, and shifting for you at say 5900-6000 rpm. That plus a JB4 with Meth and your at 22 lbs of boost and shifting in the power band. The only thing I can see is if the ECU tune gives you 21 lbs of boost with little to no other supporting mods. Maybe then it makes financial sense. Can’t remember, but have we seen any logs with a 1.5 or 1.4 bar Lozic or lap 3 tune, running 93 octane, to see how the timing is holding up? Is it possible to run that with no meth safely? (Part of this is me saying to myself, I don’t need an ECU tune.). Playing devils advocate in my own mind, LOL.
First impression LAP3 ECU, 2.5
Drive for 30 minutes for some adaption first:
It was rainy today so tyres did spun even in 3rd and 4th gear. Will be very nice to do some Dragy soon and also go to Mustang Dyno
- Very smooth running and shifts, like stock
- Feels that ignition is higher, better response
- Torque seems to come on faster without spikes
- Tried manual first, higher rpm but gently, seems that rev stop is around 7 k rpm and higher revs dont seems so limited like with JB4. Probably ignition here again that is higher
- Did 1 WOT in auto, feels stronger and log in JB4 looks that boost was around 23 at the most. No problem at all with HPFP, stayed at 10
- From standing still it seems like faster buildup in boost/rev
- So, unmanipulated seems very good and faster in asked figures
- I did leave my Windbooster in "Sport" and it works like I want the pedal. It seems that power is more linear compared to JB4 that will be more crazy when it comes on
"I´ll be back..." so far very impressing!
Of course. 100% daily driven, drive daughter to school, etc..Are any of these daily drivers and if so what fuel do you use consistently and what road performance do you see.?
With ECU and TCU it will make your old S4 feel a lot slower.Sounds like the way I will go. I want daily driver with good power! Coming from an S4 with intake, exhaust, ECU and TCU tune with virtually no maintenance needed but could catch most cars slipping!
There is a stinger with just an ECU and TCU tun running mid to low 11s with no other mods. Its worth it.My friend you are making me grin from ear to ear!
Depends on octane you are going to run. The 1.5 tune is great for pump gas. 2.5 is great for higher E85/pump gas mix or running WMI.I'm actually on the site filling out the form. Which ECU options did you choose?
