Kill Tally

I always get these guys who challenge me that must have no idea what the Stinger is about. Like an Infinity G35 and a Ford fusion sport ...

It's okay. Let them be, if they are happy living in fantasy land, that's okay.
Just make sure wherever you see one, you KILL it real good. :sneaky:

Before my S550 Mustang GT I had a Taurus SHO, after the Mustang a Fusion Sport. 100% bone stock, the SHO ran 13.7 on a 65 degree day, the FS 13.8 on an 80 degree day. They don't handle like the Stinger GT, nor do they have the styling of our car.

But FYI: with a tune and some simple bolt on's, they can run.

Foe: 2018 6spd Base Mustang GT
Now running with my JB4 Map 2

15mph roll, gapped him immediately and kept pulling.
Red light, friggin walked away from.

The driver pulled up to me, giving me thumbs saying "yo that thing is fast"!

2 spectators in crossovers, rolled down windows giving the thumbs up.

I actually bought a brand new 2019 Ford fusion sport, it was a fun car. I had it for a month before I traded it in for a 2019 stinger gt2, no regrets. There were a lot of comparisons with those two. I never really knew about the stinger until too late.

So it's not just me?? I've had so many try me that I had to go look up their stats to see if toyota gave them some kind of major hp boost.

Sorry, Mr. Accountant, you're gonna need more than that 301 hp ....
It's when you're at the light side by side, and on the other side of the intersection the two lanes merge to one. Really. Today I had a big ol' SUV of some sort try me. But even sillier, I was on the Triumph. Sure, sparkplug...0-60 in 3 sec flat vs...eventually.

Umm...

Thats typically referred to as the "ricer flyby." My guess is if he shared his story on the Jeep forums they all got good laugh at the Stinger community's expense.

You've failed us all. :notworthy:

No, a lose flyby only occurs AFTER someone loses the race. In this case, the Jeep was trying to START a race, and the Stinger ended it so rapidly that the Jeep driver just gave up.

All on closed race circuits, of course. Because none of us would be dumb enough to put our details online regarding illegal street racing where law enforcement personnel could find said details. Or our insurance agencies.

I don't get to Mexico often so my list is short, also I ignore a lot of potential runs since I prefer to punch up in weight and go for the higher end brands. There have been plenty of Mustamarollengargers that have tried me, but no thanks, give me something from Europe or Japan instead*:

Maserati Ghibli S (killed)
Lexus LC500 and RCF (killed)
BMW 340i with performance exhaust (killed)
'13+ Audi S5 coupe (killed)
F10 BMW 550i (not a kill; couldn't pull away from him but he couldn't pull past me either)

*All runs committed in Mexico, on deserted roads, late at night/early morning, with no passengers in either vehicle.

Adding to my original post, now that I've had a few more runs against formidable opponents:
Jag F-type V8; probably should have lost this one but for whatever reason I got the jump and held a slight lead.
Audi S7; didn't dare mess with him from a standstill thanks to his quattro, but I pulled ahead and inched away from a roll.
Caddy ATS-v; he wouldn't line up with me and punched it when I was at his back door, but I surprisingly managed to reel him in.

(As always, all runs on deserted Mexican highways, running a JB4 on map 5 or custom map 6)

These must have been arranged meet ups, since "deserted" highways don't have anyone on them. :D)

Yup, FS was a fun car. It matches the acceleration of a Stinger GT with just a tune.

Had it for a year.
Had my SHO for a year.
Had my S550 GT for a year
(I need to hold onto my cars a little longer)

Got a great deal on the FS and didn't want to spend the extra $$ on the Stinger GT, but it's styling, handling, and additional oomph kept me interested. So I used KIA rebates + dealer discount to pay off the trade. Low interest KIA financing made it happen.

The Stinger GT has everything the S550/SHO/FS didn't have individually: Styling + Power + AWD
Insurance only went up $1/month, and unlike my previous rides, I predict this car is a keeper.

@Digiwolf I'm trying to figure out why wont post a comment, but keep hitting "disagree" on my and others posts in this thread??? I assume you're either in disbelief with what our Stingers are capable of beating, or you're simply jealous because we beat a car you like.

I will give you the benefit of doubt and hope its just shock since I was shocked by some of my wins too. So if you need any help understanding my results just ask and I'd be happy to clarify.

Haha I was wondering the same thing. hater lol

I absolutely walked a G37s a few weeks ago. Older gentleman took off from a red light, (I had no intention on racing lol) I caught up by 2nd gear and by 4th I had 2 lengths on him. No contest.

From looking at his posting history he isn't a fan of the Stinger or even people just talking about their Stinger.

Probably against street racing in general. I don't always blame people for being against it, but I grew up when it was still a (illegal and always has been) car guy's pastime, lol

As for lots of you and your Fusion Sport... EWWWW :poop::laugh::rofl:

How sad is your life then, that you have to lurk on the forum just to dislike comments.

I think the new Fusion is a nice looking car. And if one goes fast that's a double plus.

To me it just screams rental car. In the midrange, too: I see the Mazda's as the premium looking rental cars

Ferrari's and Lambos can be rented. I guess they're just midrange cars compared to Bugatti's and Rolls Royce's.

I dunno, the Fusion isn't ugly, but it's soooo... soooo "family man on a business trip" looking, and at least the Stinger despite it's questionable Kia heritage (or lack thereof) had input from a former Audi designer and BMW M division VP :whistle:
