Pretty sweet deal...
Which dealership? Can you review your dealership experience?
Can you convert the lease to a buy without fully paying for the car on the spot?Even sweeter when I convert the lease to a buy and snag the $7,000 lease cash off the price.
Glad you got a great deal from them but that is an awful Kia dealer. The people I dealt with were completely uninformed about the car to the point they told me I couldn't buy my model because it wasn't even being made yet lol. I walked out and got a great deal at Liberty Kia. Obviously everyone's experience will be different but Rt 23 Kia was no good for me.Sure, Route 23 Kia in New Jersey. Not a bad experience at all. Things are highly competitive around there and they really have to fight for each deal. The way to approach any car purchase is separate the transaction into it components and negotiate each separately: negotiate the price, research the financing options, and research and negotiate what you should reasonably expect for your trade-in. Never, never buy a car based on the monthly payment, you will never get the right deal that way.

That's good to hear. I just hate it when I have to actually correct the salespeople about what they're telling me. I'd rather give my sale to someone who knows what they're talking about. Emily at Rt 23 was actively telling me I was wrong when I knew I was 100% right. Glad your experience was different. And I have to say, I enjoyed my BMW service experiences (as much as one could, I guess)...will be interesting to see how the Kia process works out.It was good for me and my wallet. I wasn't looking for hand-holding or to be educated by a salesperson. I was looking for the best deal. I will not be using them for service, since I live over 100 miles away. But actually, my experience was pleasant and respectful. As soon as they figured "what kind of buyer I was" there was no BS, a little haggling, but they made a deal over the phone with me, backed it up with an email and when I arrived gave me the deal I bargained for. Car delivered as promised, so I can not complain at all. Having owned new BMW's and Benz's in the past, I am all too familiar with the coddling of luxury car dealers, and let me tell you, I'd rather have a car that doesn't have to be served all the time, than having a loaner when I bring the car in, I don't need a fancy showroom or other superficial glitz. All I wanted was a GT2 at the best price I could get without hassles, and that's what I got.
So the way that worked was you leased the car initially and then that same day "decided" to actually buy out the lease, which allowed you to apply the $7,000 lease cash special? If so, that's fantastic! Did the dealership give any pushback on that?Even sweeter when I convert the lease to a buy and snag the $7,000 lease cash off the price.

She wasn't giving me bad info on the car which yes, I did all the research in the world, she was telling me the base GTs weren't even being made yet. And then her two managers told me the same. I went the next day to Liberty Kia and bought the exact car they said didn't exist yet. Either they were morons who didn't know how to use the inventory site or were lying to me since they didn't have any base GTs on their lot. Either way, enough to drive me away from them.If you are buying a Stinger, and you do your online research as probably most Stinger buyers do (since this an "aficionado" car), why rely on info from a twenty-something year-old? Do your own research.
As far as the service experience with KIA goes, one of the reasons I went for the Stinger is that I am hoping not to have too many service experiences with it!
Lease incentives attached
Cash incentive is slightly lower it looks like, but pretty close. KMA (Kia Motors America) continues to absolutely butcher their money factor rates though....
