Facebook tells me that Wagner Tuning has an intercooler upgrade coming. Here's a picture I found. Let's list other FMIC upgrades here and talk more.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Which intercooler performs the best?
Wagner or JT?

I'm waiting until BMS announces theirs sometime in the next little while..

What about the upcoming Mishimoto intercooler? Seems like they are doing some good quality R&D on it.

I'm pumped for mishimoto's, just wish it could come sooner. Also holding off on BOVs in case their setup can't accommodate them.

What would make the mishimoto design a better design than say Wagner or JT? Last time I checked their core was quite small.

Most of the aftermarket options seem to have relatively small cores compared with the JT intercooler, which is bloody huge.

Mishimoto are doing improvements to the pipework as well as just the intercooler (JT does as well). There's no point removing the intercooler as a bottleneck to performance if the pipework is just as much of a bottleneck.

Larger than Wagner?? Does not seem like so from the pictures.

Sorry, you are correct - I saw the pic of the stock intercooler and thought it was the Wagner.

The stepped design (I assume to fit behind the crash bar) is certainly interesting!

Here is a pic of another product that looks as big if not bigger than the JT one:

(car on the pic is G70 but it fits both)

PWR are very well known for their radiators and intercoolers. I wonder if the whole thing is their design, or it's just using one of their cores...

Whole thing, as far as I know.
But the piping is udually made by a third party.

JT's intercooler doesn't fit on our cars without grinding down the back of the tow bar bung and some other mods to mount it. It's not plug-and-play, so it's not an option for me. It was designed for Aussie cars and their specs might be a bit different from our North American cars.

Wagner--$1050 for the intercooler+ ?$ for their piping+ ?$ for their carbon fiber side intake ducts (Vellossa tech ducts allegedly don't fit)---awesome product, but ??$$$$ for the complete Wagner system??

No need to replace the piping with the Wagner FMIC, its totally plug&play.

I just installed one from Ultimate Performance yesterday. Has a Garrett core and I opted for the charge pipe also.
