The only difference is Johnny Tig answers every other month emails and another month to do the parts.Jonny Tig has an intercooler upgrade kit as well (it's more than just the intercooler):

Larger than Wagner?? Does not seem like so from the pictures. Most of the aftermarket options seem to have relatively small cores compared with the JT intercooler, which is bloody huge.

Here is a pic of another product that looks as big if not bigger than the JT one:Sorry, you are correct - I saw the pic of the stock intercooler and thought it was the Wagner.
The stepped design (I assume to fit behind the crash bar) is certainly interesting!
Whole thing, as far as I know.PWR are very well known for their radiators and intercoolers. I wonder if the whole thing is their design, or it's just using one of their cores...
What would make the mishimoto design a better design than say Wagner or JT? Last time I checked their core was quite small.
No need to replace the piping with the Wagner FMIC, its totally plug&play.JT's intercooler doesn't fit on our cars without grinding down the back of the tow bar bung and some other mods to mount it. It's not plug-and-play, so it's not an option for me. It was designed for Aussie cars and their specs might be a bit different from our North American cars.
Wagner--$1050 for the intercooler+ ?$ for their piping+ ?$ for their carbon fiber side intake ducts (Vellossa tech ducts allegedly don't fit)---awesome product, but ??$$$$ for the complete Wagner system??
