Kia Stinger GT vs. Genesis G70 3.3T: Is Luxury Worth It?

I got mine for 35k under 300miles and there’s only 400 made in the US
The 3.3 or the 2.0? Thats a crazy good deal for a 3.3

on the thread topic, i hate to say it but, on top of the differences mentioned above, the stinger is just a much much prettier car in my eyes. I still turn around every time I walk away. I value driving experience a lot and its hard to hear the genesis handles better, but the stinger is more than enough in that. The steering is communicated well and you always know where the front tires are pointed. The throttle response is crisp and exciting. The only things lacking for me were a) the noise (fixed that with an mbrp, soooo much better) b) the body roll c) the barely noticeable suspension control (probably going to buy sways and/or the mando tuner to help with these)

Its a shame because these things could easily be better incorporated out of the factory, which it seems genesis managed to do better (except for sound). But im pretty superficial and the sex appeal will always be important to me

I sat in my sister's 2020 G70. The back seat definitely lacks leg room, but I am 6'1. I'm pretty sure anyone over 5'10 will have problems. I just drove 850 miles with a 6'0" person in front and a 6'0" person in back in our Stinger and there were no complaints.

However the G70 is a nice looking car, and generally considered to be the better performing cousin.

As a G70 owner, I'll be the first to admit the backseat AND trunk suck. 99.99999% of the time I drive my car, I'm solo. Sometimes my son rides with me, he's ten. If it get's to the point where me, the wife, and the son need to go somewhere, we take her car, and I'm fine with that!
