They couldn’t keep up with stock.I was thinking the same thing today. The V6TT especially. How good would that be?
AGAIN!?Seriously, this is the goofiest grapevine I've seen in a long while. The SAME Korean rumor mill blog has turned into four thread about this in the last four days. Doesn't anyone scan the new posts first?

Did I say "strange"? Why do some of you guys keep putting quotes around things I don't say?
That’s actually a good idea. I’d buy that as the family car if they did.Maybe they should put all the tech & the V6TT in the Sorento, they would walk out the door lol.
@BTA the Stinger is already a rare breed. Killing production will, kill it.
The Stinger is already a fine family car. I really hate this current SUV fanaticism and after having to drive a BMW X1 as a loaner car for 3 weeks, as well as driving my parent's BMW X5, really solifidied my biased opinion against them. That’s actually a good idea. Yes it would be a good setup, my daughter has a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, I would have one of those in a heartbeat.^^^My wife has a Sorento with the "regular" V6. It just feels so dull to drive. Now, if they threw in the V6TT in that one, I can easily change my tune.![]()
It is a fine family car and we are tempted to use it as such however we travel for holidays and there isn’t enough boot space to accomodate that. For that reason alone it can’t be the ‘family’ car!The Stinger is already a fine family car. Welcome, Glenn. Comparing the Stinger to a crossover SUV that failed to sell even half of the target of 100K units per year is pretty silly, in my opinion. But by any standard, if the vehicle in question is in production for more than a decade it is successful from an owner's standpoint: parts and service will be around for the life of the vehicle. If the Stinger gets produced for half that long I won't be worrying (especially with that ten year warranty). Do you have a Stinger? My wife's SUV, wagon me is a 2012 Ford Flex. The Flex has of highest owner ratings, yet Ford could sell the buggers. Ads for the Flex were as infrequent as apologies from the IRS.They axed it this year. I do not ever seeing a Stinger advertised.
