We keep getting reports of this especially this week. COVID-19 certainly isn't helping the Stinger's case. We will just have to wait and see. The minor face lift is still going ahead however was something I read on the article today, but not a second generation.

Maybe they should put all the tech & the V6TT in the Sorento, they would walk out the door lol.

I was thinking the same thing today. The V6TT especially. How good would that be?
They couldn’t keep up with stock.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
AGAIN!? Seriously, this is the goofiest grapevine I've seen in a long while. The SAME Korean rumor mill blog has turned into four thread about this in the last four days. Doesn't anyone scan the new posts first? :P

No. Everyone does not spend their entire life reading and replying to every single post on this forum. Calling someone who did that "strange" would be quite the understatement.

Did I say "strange"? Why do some of you guys keep putting quotes around things I don't say? I must read fast, comprehensively, by comparison to the normal forum members. We all have our talents. But, really, how hard is it to click "New Posts" and do a quick scan down the offerings?

No. "Strange" would be my word for such a person as described in my post. Let's try to keep up, little fella.

I hope they stop production. Makes Stinger a rare breed.

@BTA the Stinger is already a rare breed. Killing production will, kill it.

Until something is said coming from KIA, I won't buy into the rumors.

That’s actually a good idea. I’d buy that as the family car if they did.
The Stinger is already a fine family car. I really hate this current SUV fanaticism and after having to drive a BMW X1 as a loaner car for 3 weeks, as well as driving my parent's BMW X5, really solifidied my biased opinion against them.

^^^Agreed. The last SUV I enjoyed driving was my wife's 2008 MDX SH-AWD. 300hp and that aformentioned SH-AWD, it handled and accelerated like no SUV I've ever driven.

My wife has a Sorento with the "regular" V6. It just feels so dull to drive. Now, if they threw in the V6TT in that one, I can easily change my tune. :)

Yes it would be a good setup, my daughter has a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, I would have one of those in a heartbeat.

My wife's SUV, wagon me is a 2012 Ford Flex. The Flex has of highest owner ratings, yet Ford could sell the buggers. Ads for the Flex were as infrequent as apologies from the IRS.They axed it this year. I do not ever seeing a Stinger advertised.

It is a fine family car and we are tempted to use it as such however we travel for holidays and there isn’t enough boot space to accomodate that. For that reason alone it can’t be the ‘family’ car!

Welcome, Glenn. Comparing the Stinger to a crossover SUV that failed to sell even half of the target of 100K units per year is pretty silly, in my opinion. But by any standard, if the vehicle in question is in production for more than a decade it is successful from an owner's standpoint: parts and service will be around for the life of the vehicle. If the Stinger gets produced for half that long I won't be worrying (especially with that ten year warranty). Do you have a Stinger?
