Last i saw @STINGER was running in some pretty warm temps also. No 20 degree NY weather for him.

Right but because of the list we made and draggy being on the same level he's not #1 on the list :(

He is the quickest track car thats for sure!

So it looks like RWD have the fastest and quickest track times :p

JB4 now has the quickest Tracked Stinger and Tork the fastest tracked stinger lol.

That's true, but I think he still has some pretty good weather over there in Bahrain. I think like 55 degrees F?

You guys need to consider that I am also running huge wheels and heavier brakes and a front lip. The car definitely has a 119-120 trap if I didnt have those.

Weather is good but IAT is not due to the long waits in the lines so I am not really benefiting from the good weather. This is one of the challenges when at the track.

But also 3/4 s of the Stingers don't have tracks open right now. Need to wait until at least end April for poeple to make track runs.

I am hoping to see someone run 11.5-11.6 at 120 this season on the stock turbo's and full weight, its doable.

Log is really clean, this is about as good as it gets. Time to cut weight or maybe add more mods!

If we can get that back-end flash so that we can do a proper burnout and build boost from the line coupled with smaller diameter drag radials I am sure the car has mid 11's in it as is.

The back-end flash is the next big step for this platform.

I agree, but is it doable without meth? That’s my question. And is it doable with the awd? I know the e.t. Is but is the mph doable?

Agree, WMI is probably necessary. At first I thought that AWD wouldn't trap as well as RWD but apparently the numbers posted so far say they are almost the same. Hopefully this season more guys will hit the track and we get a lot more data and we will be able to make a better assessment.

I have a jb4, just started playing with it. Going to do the up down pipe kit with stock cat back, big mouth scoops with bms intakes or the injens I can’t decide. Are next. Probably will run there this season. Then I’ll make it look better

Just my opinion, I would skip the intake at this stage. I didn't gain anything by adding the intakes other than higher IAT's, unless you want the wooosh sound than go for it. I would do the VT scoops and K&N's drop-ins instead which I had before and I am going back to. Seems to me with the stock turbo's the intakes are not necessary.

I really appreciate that information, I had a loud intake in my last car. It was cool for a few days then it became annoying because everyone would talk about it instantly if they rode in it.

That’s an interesting opinion and seems like something isn’t adding up. It’s already documented that the OEM intakes boxes are one of the most restrictive parts on our Stingers.

I assume waiting at the track must have increased IAT so much it actually offset the typical 10-20whp gains from intakes.

Almost everyone, including Terry said intakes make a huge difference especially with extra boost from a chip/tune. Think he said an extra 1mph in the traps, and multiple Stingers dropped 0.2sec off 0-60 & 1/4m times just adding intakes. There is a noticeable difference in top end airflow with intakes which would be needed with all your extra boost.

I highly doubt an extra 20whp wouldn’t make a difference in your 1/4m over K&N drop-ins, and wouldn’t abandon those gains just yet. Seems like more testing is needed and keep up the good work.

I cannot speak of the other intakes like AEM since it has better insulation than the BMS, but I am definitely experiencing much higher IAT's that it could be offsetting the flow gains.

A member here with the K&N did a temp test and found temperatures at the filter was damn near ambient. Not sure if the K&N heatshield is that much better than the BMS, but you shouldn't be seeing IATs that much higher over the stock box, MAYBE a degree or two when under throttle.

I think the difference is temps while sitting (heat soak) and then draging vs temps under normal driving.
