This story starts back 9 months ago at the end of Nov/early Dec when my soonroof failed to close properly.
While waiting for parts, they refused to do a full disassembly to reseat the sunroof and instead forced it to be 98% closed. Closed enough so any water that did get in would get drained ... but open enough that I cant drive more than 75mph (60 or less on a very windy day) without the sunroof catching air and trying to pull off.
Dealership ordered new rails but it was on backorder and tried to dealer-to-dealer.
After 7.5 months of "it will get here when gets here" answers I call Kia corporate. Lo and behold, 2-3 weeks latter my dealer had parts.
So scheduled to go in Aug 9.
Now for when the problems really start:
Parts they ordered where not the right parts. Even though they said back in Nov that it needed new rails, they ordered a motor rebuild kit. Well at this point the sunroof is off and they even cracked front windshield.
So they told me new rails will be in in 3-5 days and set me up with a rental. Also told me they where going to have a glass shop put in the sunroof rails and the new windshield (and install ceramic tint on it since my old windshield also had it)
Car not ready in 3-5 days, after a couple of "should be ready tomorrow" they then tell me I also need new motors for the cloth slide of the sunroof, 2 more days. Week latter still no parts, still "should be ready tomorrow" whenever I call. Impromptu went to dealership last Thursday and talked in person, they told me (probably totally BS) that the shipping company that they had to re-order part because the shipping company went out of business. Mind you, my car is no where to be found on their lot, apparently it has been in limbo at the glass shop for at least a week or two. Told me Friday, Monday the latest
So its now Wed and so I use my GPS location from my Accessorides module, and go to the glass shop and this BULLS**T is what I find:

Had to take kid to a doctor appointment so it was an hour latter when I returned to the dealership.
They had to find the service manager for me, and he (probably pretending to be on the phone) then tried to tell me that they were just getting ready to pick up my car from the glass shop.
Showed him the photo's and said "how the hell is it ready when this was my car ONE HOUR AGO".
Of course Mr. Slick tried to play it off like he was the one that had been lied to, and of course had no idea it was treated so poorly (even though he also said his tech went over there early today).
Naturally they are offering bare bones minimal to make it right, only to have their detail guy clean it and will "take care of me" in the future.
Unfortunately in a position where Service Manager is a down-playing liar, his manager is not going to care much either, and the owner recently died and the step-in is just there to collect a paycheck.
