JT 3.3TT CAI Group Buy

Did you go to the bank to send the Payment? Got my invoice too.

I sent it through PayPal. And I got a follow-up email saying they aren't yet setup to accept payment through PayPal, soooo my money is somewhere in cyberspace.

Don't use payPay!

Hey guys. Ok so PayPal has given us massive problems, hence the delay. Still waiting for them to give us approval so we can access funds. Because we are a Pty Ltd company they cannot give us an exact date for it to be approved. We have payments sitting in there we cannot access. My apologies for the delay. Accounts has started sending invoices but had issues with PayPal so we are now using a company called HiFx for international currency. If you have sent us an email order you will receive an invoice tonight. Just been really hectic finalizing it all.

In regards to group buy pricing we dropped the pricing in line with how many were interested. As for freight sending multiple on a pallet was dearer than $200 a unit singularly direct to customers door.

If anyone wants to order please send me an email as I am so time poor I just dont have time to be on forum 24/7.

Our email address is jonnytig671@gmail.com

Again my apologies for the delay, we are doing the best we can.

Cheers Jon

I emailed them regarding the payment and said there PayPal Account is still in process. So only way to sent the payment to them is go through the Bank!

Bar and plate is better at reducing charge temps. Period

Bar and Plate is junk period. 1970s technology. An intercooler is just a medium for thermal transfer. They are far too heavy for fast transfer rates and heatsoak under sustained load kills them. Tube and fin technology isn't what it was even a decade ago. These cores are super lightweight laser welded tube with a offset internal fin structure. We have done back to back tests and the euro tube and fin raped the bar and plate core. The bar n plate was 7kg heavier for same sized core. So it's obvious thermal dynamics. That's a lot more aluminium to transfer heat through. If both have same internal and external surface areas with same flow area the lighter core will transfer energy lots faster.

We picked up 44rwkw and went 5 tenths faster down quarter, same afrs and boost changing to a lighter tube n fin core. Not once have I seen a bar n plate core come close to the efficiency of these. If they were better we would be using them!

@Jonnytig

Jon, sent email few days ago, do I need to send another?

Thanks Jon! I just sent another email. Sorry to clog your mail. I will stand down and wait patiently for the invoice.:)

Dont be sorry at all. I'm the one that's sorry. PayPal have taken over 4weeks to get it sorted and still waiting. Got a bit of money still sitting in there we can't access so makes it hard. All emails will be sorted tonight:)

Kindest regards Jon

There is just no good way to ship just 1, especially considering he has to add the bulky Air Filters. I just dont see the value in spening $1k for this intake. Ill stick with the K&Ns that i got for $400.
You know the $950 is AUD, just by looking at the components alone, can't compare JT CAI to the K&N. Customized work from JT versus assembly line K&N, just my thoughts on the value.

$950 Australian is around $700 US (includes shipping)
It's still the most expensive intake but not a grand. $300 more than K&N and $200 more than the Ingen but you get big filters, the housings around the filter, and the intake ducts.

For any others that are interested he quoted me what converts to about $630 USD for just the intake without filters (includes shipping). Then it will cost you $106 to get the filters state side. So that does not quite make sense. $30 more expensive than buying everything from JT.

@Jonnytig got my invoice and was quoted $950 AUD. I want to mail a check. What should I write it for in USD?

I called Jonny and he took my Credit Card details over the phone. Credit Card now shows a charge of $703.61

Note - Jonny is 14 hours ahead.
Wow, that sounds easy. I'm 3 days into an international wire transfer that is a major pain in the ass.

Yea I wish I knew I could call it in.

I did PayPal and the money has been taken out of my bank account but not deposited to their bank account. Another pain in the ass.

Yeah, my bank wanted to charge me $40 for a wire transfer so that's when I decided to go the Credit card route.
