Yea, terry is awesome. I run through the threads to see what i can find. Most of them are all about the V6 though.Talk to Terry. One or two of the maps are specifically set up for the user to be able to modify the internal tables to set up different targets.
Best to check out his message board (n54tech.com) or contact him directly. I bet there's some useful threads on his board as he uses similar logic on many versions of the jb4.
In your opinion Terry, do you think its worth all of that trouble? Or just deal with the realization that I have only a few more options like BBTB and an intercooler if I dont want to really put money into it?A good flash is required to run larger turbos, with JB4 being used for fine tuning, safety, logging, WMI control, etc.

Thanks. Was wondering about that. Didn’t know what the ft-lb limit on the existing trans was if upgrading. I had read somewhere that when they were testing the Pure Turbos a few years ago it tore up the trans. Although, I have seen a number of people have upgraded with no issues.Oh, wait, you have the 2.0? Yeah, that would be a lot of money for not much gain. You would need to be extremely serious to do much with the 2.0. Best upgrade you can do is trade it in on a 3.3. Waaaaaay cheaper than anything else. I haven't seen much happening with the 2.0, so you'd need to find a shop and start the completely custom journey.
No. Best guess right now is the trans is good to 800 ft-lbs. Even then, a trans has problems if you actually have traction. Running on the street with street tires? No problem. Big sticky slicks? OK, gotta pay attention.
