Ever since I put the re-gapped stock spark plugs in instead of the densos, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that the car is running better than it ever has. I'm even getting better fuel economy now.
I'm inclined to agree that it was a plug issue. The only times I removed the coils was when I was swapping the plugs. As for the codes I'm not getting them now and I'm not too sure I want to put the densos back in since they were causing the car to misfire. I think when I get another chance, I'll try plugging the JB4 in with the OBDII and see if throws a code this time. There are no concerns around using it with the re-gapped stock plugs, right?
I've used mine with re-gapped stock plugs for over 10k miles without issue.
How do the plugs look that you removed?
