This plug and play quick install adapter allows you to install a posi-tap for fuel control tuning without piercing the factory O2 sensor wiring providing a completely reversible connection.
At this point I’m saying this is a thread about fuel wire harnesses. Maybe a thread about fuel blending would be more beneficial than taking this one off the rails. It may also be useful to hear from others who have the Fuel-It sensor since the sensors themselves do not detect the presence of ethanol but rather the absence of gasoline.
Hey gang, running a 2.0t with Jb4 and Echo's custom harness. Works great, pretty easy install. Attached a couple of pics, not the best since tough spot to get the camera into, but maybe it'll help if anyone has not seen it installed yet. One shows the tap coming up and one shows the where the harness plugs into. Thanks Ecko!
I'm going to ask the dumbest question on this forum to date: Where am I putting these fuel wires? For the love of all that is holy, someone help me. I'm not inept, but I can't find an install video to save my life. the pictures above do nothing for me.
Save the trolling for tomorrow. Information is appreciated, thanks lol

Did you buy the optional adapters? I really think those are worth it if you ever intend to return it to stock or if you are worried about what the dealer will think about it.

Well that's the thing. I was thinking that the adapters took place of having to use the tap-in method. So I have to connect the fuel wires and then tap the fuel wire adapter?

dID YOU GET IT DONE? i AM IN THE SAME SPOT YOU WERE IN? sO i ASSUME i DONT NEED TO PLUG THESE FUEL WIRES IN TO THE jb4 BOX, BECAUSE THEY ARE ALLREADY INSTALLED..wHERE ON THE 2.0 IS DO THE ADAPTER GO..CAN YOU POUNT ME IN THE RITE DIRECTION.tHANKLS Sorry had caps on and in a rush at work..lol
The adapter goes in between the plug from the O2 sensor and the harness it plugs into. You disconnect the cable coming from the O2 sensor, and the adapter (which is only a few inches long) goes in between the O2 cable and the place you disconnected it from. You tap the fuel wires from the jb4 into the adapter wire, so you are not touching the stock wiring at all, and to remove, you just disconnect the adapter and plug the cable from the O2 back into the original location.
