Maybe I'm an exception but I dont want Kia to sell Stingers hand over fist. In fact, I want them to discontinue after the 2020 MY.
I like having something so unique and "exotic" and I like the prospect of this car eventually having a cult following.
You really don't want it killed off, because within a few years it would be near impossible to get replacement parts.
I want Hyundai/Kia to treat the Stinger the way GM treats the Corvette; keep selling it through their budget brand (Chevrolet is to GM as Kia is to Hyundai) but keep producing better and more advanced versions, keeping the entry level trims attainable but offering a spectrum of trims up to the lower-reaches of the stratosphere, and let the tech filter down throughout their model range for marketing.
I haven't even pulled the trigger on a 2020 Stinger yet and am already planning on trading it in after the model refresh... and am hoping they put in a stiffer suspension and much more powerful engine that has at least as much tuning potential as the 3.3t (3.5L V6 tt or 5.0L V8 tt?
