Is there a high quality oval emblem?

Matches my black car perfectly. They look really good. Thanks Sal.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Buy them directly from k5optimastore.com.

They sell the 3.0 versions that have never caused me any issues on my Optimas.

Thank you for the referral, not only do we sell the authentic 3.0K emblems, but we absolutely stand behind our warranty with any issues that may arise.

That’s where I got my cheap ones. Defects in badge, black surface scratches easily.
Hmm, this does not sound right at all. I would love to find out some more info about this. More times than not, customers will order the emblems, and email us and say they want to return them because they arrived with scratches on them or bubbling on the black section. Just today we received this exact email from a customer. What they don't realize, is that those "Scratches & defects" in the black material, is actually the clear protective decal that is placed over the top of the emblems to prevent them from getting damaged or scratched in shipping. Not only does it cover this in the installation instructions on our site, but we make sure to send out additional business cards, informing the customer to please read and follow the installation instructions that we have on our site, showing how to remove the protective sticker after installing the emblems. However, many times customers miss this, and just discredit the product as being cheap or what not and want to return it.

Our emblems are not easy to scratch in the black section at all as you have indicated, so it makes me wonder if you happen to be one of the customers who didn't realize you were looking at the clear protective sticker, and not damage to the actual emblem itself.

In that case I'd contact them for a refund. You can use the money to buy one from Sal.

K5OS has pretty good customer service.
Thank you again, this is correct. We have an easy hassle free return policy, if you are not happy, we stand behind our products and your right to return them.

K5OS has great customer service but those badges are junk. I went through 3 sets on my Optima. That’s the entire reason why I did the OEM E badges
I appreciate the kind words on our customer service! However, in regards to the emblems, not sure what period in time you had them, but many newer owners to Kia are not familiar with the big #emblemgate issue of 2013-2014 (early 2015). There were major manufacturing issues that had taken place back then, that had caused major quality control issues with the emblems. About 80% of this took place prior to us taking over North American Distribution of the 3.0K emblems. Short of having issues with our all "Luxury White" (all white) emblems that we had custom made with the manufacturer for the KDM community, we have not really had many issues at all with the quality of our 3.0K emblems. Most members who have experienced repeated issues with the emblems were customers who had ordered during the #emblemgate timeframe, and were used to the quality control issues that had taken place prior to us taking over North American Distribution of the product.
I had a set of white carbon fiber that turned beige. They told me it was a bad batch and sent me a replacement set for free. Didn't have a problem with those.
You mean the "Luxury White" emblems that were discontinued about a year ago. (Never had any issues with the white CF emblems turning beige) Yeah, unfortunately, no matter what we did, or how hard we tried, (even after changing vinyl manufacturers a number of times) they kept having issues, so we eventually had to discontinue them.

@CaliSting I would contact them for a replacement. They should do it for free. That should hold you over until the above emblems are available.
Yes, we absolutely would replace them for free at no charge if there was something wrong with them, and not just the clear protective sticker needing to be removed from the top of the emblems.

Please note regarding any products ordered from us, we not only stand behind our products, but we answer our phones and respond to emails daily. We are not just a dropshipper, but an established storefront location where we physically stock 75% or more of the products that we sell. If you or anyone ever has an issue with any purchase from our store, please feel free to reach out via PM, email, or telephone, so we can work to resolve whatever issue you may have encountered.

I would love to see the oem E-Badge in the oval shape. with the Chrome edge, all that sparkly stuff in there and stinger at the bottom.

I bought them between 2013-2015. So you’re spot on.

Got it, yeah that's what I had figured. Tons of issues during that timeframe, but none of which are still affecting the emblems we sell today. All of the chrome plating issues in manufacturing were resolved back in 2015 over 3 years ago!

I had a blacked out version but the sticker surrounding the K bubbles over time, faded, and looked bad.

I will. They're thick and heavy. Very well made. Better than OEM quality...
No, they are not better than OEM quality. I got the black chrome and it wasn't painted properly all the way around the matte outer edges. There were also several chips. Disappointed

There's actually a three year manufacturer warranty on those badges. I'll send you a direct message about a refund. Those badges come sealed and I don't open each one to examine them before I ship them out. Perhaps I should...

If it's the first set of badges you ordered, might be a good idea to look at them for QC.

Regarding the DM about a refund if I return the item back to you. Who pays for the return shipping? And now I need to get another badge too. Sorry it's just not what I was expecting when you said it's a high quality item and paying $38 for a badge rather than get a cheap one off eBay that id have to repaint or do whatever to it myself to fix it.

I'll send you a new one, via USPS Priority Mail today. When you install the new one, send the old one back to me via cheap USPS First Class shipping (should come with a tracking number). Will that work? Shipping will probably be two dollars and change. If you want, I'll refund that shipping charge.

Sure that works. It will be a pain to remove. The 3m tape is thick and super sticky.

Can't I can just do a "return to sender" with the old badge? Or it might be easier for tracking and logistics purposes if you included a return label rather than processing a refund

I know the badge will be a pain to remove and I apologize for the manufacturer's apparent quality control issue. I just packaged a new badge for you. Please let me know if you haven't received the tracking number yet. Also, I opened the package and took some pictures. Please let me know if this one is also unsatisfactory. Thank you...

Oh, and any pictures you could provide myself and the community would be very helpful so that I can present the issue to the manufacturer in it's condition BEFORE I receive it.

Thank you very much...
Oh I posted photos in a post I created yesterday about the issue. I can repost them here if you'd like.
