Awesome! Do you recommended anything to help the drone like resonators Mbrp offers? I know buying aftermarket tips will help. Do you still have oem tips? Do you ever hear more burbles with this at all?
You’ll get a bit of rasp if you try and load the engine at low RPM (bogging), but it will quickly go away once the car drops gear.
I don’t find it drones at all. There’s a mild exhaust tone when you’re doing 120-130 km/h, but it’s not annoying and completely covered by the radio at 4-5 volume.
The Borla has a much more aggressive tone. It’s very hard to make a V6 sound good, especially a turbocharged one, but this does it quite well. Volume is good, still not too loud. Still under a stock AMG S, about around an M3/4 with M sport exhaust. The MBRP is very quiet, it’s like OEM levels of quiet.
That is where I am confused. Some people say it’s quite others say it has tone. In most of the videos it does seem like it is definitely louder than stock.
Really save tons of money MBRP is waste of money. I know what you're thinking muffler removal is going to be louder than hell but no with full cats it sounds beautiful.

It's not that it's quiet. It's that it's quieter than what most expect from an aftermarket exhaust. It also is no louder than a muffler delete. Unfortunately, I didn't get the comparison video with my buddy. We were too busy staring at all the cars at the meet .
I could try to find old footage if you think it'll be helpful to you.
Heard a muffler delete the other day on a nearby Stinger, sounded like a raspy fart can to me. However its all subjective. Either way I would recommend getting tips that extend all the way, it made a huge difference in sound and getting rid of the drone.

If you have a pre-2022 Stinger (i.e. before they added the active valve exhaust) then it might be worth trying a muffler delete first. But there have been A LOT of people reporting horrible drone with muffler deletes outside of this thread. You can try to minimize the drone with additional sound deadening in the trunk, and some extensions on the exhaust pipes, but who knows if that would really help. If it still drones too much you can go aftermarket.
Muffler deletes are relatively inexpensive compared to aftermarket exhausts, so you'll only really lose money if you do delete first and find that its not for you.
It's a little different for those with the 2022+ Stingers with the active valves. Assuming you still want the valve function you can do a muffler delete but you're pretty much going a custom exhaust route then, so you'll want to make sure the shop you choose is decent at that. Even then, the drone might be unbearable and you may need to go aftermarket.
With my 2022 I'm just going to go straight aftermarket with something that supports the valve function. I don't want to chop up the stock exhaust in case I ever decide to sell the car down the road and return it to stock.

I vaguely remember getting an email about it but I just searched for it and could not find it. I think they are trying to bring tips to the market but as far as I know, they have not officially launched anything yet.
