Hi all,

I am looking at exhausts and it seems MBRP is very good for the price. For the price is the exhaust worth it? Does it drone if so does anyone recommend anything to tame the drone with. I see mbrp offered extensions etc.
just want opinions if this exhaust is worth a look

there is a 60 page thread on the MBRP.

short answer, hell yes it's worth it. Just get some tips to replace the factory fake ones on the bumper. you need all that sound to go straight out the rear bumper or you'll get some drone. With the tips, no drone whatsoever. This is true of any aftermarket exhaust on the stinger.

Bro I hope you find what you're looking for. You post a new exhaust thread every week.

IMHO you should really be asking/researching in the specific forum:

Apparently it's easier to ask a question and have everyone spoon feed you their answers instead of check the numerous already existing threads for what could be answers to the same question.

I've always been the type to search first, then ask my question. Usually you don't have to wait as long that way.

Highly debatable not everywee. Two exhaust I posted are from Europe. One of which is very hard to get and not a lot of people have heard of. So yeah I’m asking questions boss

Relax hoss. It’s only a question simple answers required. Sure I can go research but why would I research threads on some exhausts from 4 years ago? Maybe there have been changes or updates

I actually don't think it's worth the price. A friend of mine has a Stinger with the MBRP exhaust and we compared sounds right next to each other. I have a G70 with a muffler delete. Both cars are 3.3T.

At the time, the only upside to the MBRP was lack of drone. His car had a slightly deeper tone, but it didn't sound any louder from the outside than my car and his cost was almost 4x more. I spent $250 on my delete, which after seeing the work, was a ripoff.

I've since upgraded the primary downpipes to catless and added 2.5 inch tips to the car and it sounds very good imo. The tips also eliminated the drone. So I now have none of the drawbacks of the muffler delete.

Total for parts now equals what my friend spent on his MBRP and my car sounds a lot better. And it's louder.

Compared to other exhaust options, MBRP is a lot cheaper and the sound will be decent. However, you can spend a lot less and get the same volume.

We're supposed to go to a meet tomorrow. I'll try to get some video of the exhaust sounds if I remember.

Awesome thank you!

The MBRP Exhaust is a great sounding exhaust that is well made and very budget friendly. If you are worried about drone there are many ways to combat it that will alleviate the issue. Right now we are running a limited time rebate offer on this exhaust so it's the perfect time to make your purchase!

In my opinion no. Muffler delete by itself it spot on sound and very affordable.

I had MBRP. Disliked it. Very quiet.

Switched to Borla. Much happier.

If you’re used to having nicer cars with exhausts on them, MBRP will be very underwhelming. The low RPM sound is very good in the cabin though. Often caused random things in my car to vibrate. Also droned more than my Borla and was a very annoying boomy drone.

I’ve had mine on for a few years now. Still absolutely love it. All reports of drone are a matter of opinion. I don’t feel I have drone per se. There’s a reverberation under load around 15-1700 rpm. Other than that, nothing but a nice sweet exhaust note. It really opens up and tickles my ears just past 2600 rpm.

Look at all of these other People responding like how it should be. No one throwing a fit because god forbid I asked! That is the point of a forum my friend

Awesome! Do you recommended anything to help the drone like resonators Mbrp offers? I know buying aftermarket tips will help. Do you still have oem tips? Do you ever hear more burbles with this at all?

Really save tons of money MBRP is waste of money. I know what you're thinking muffler removal is going to be louder than hell but no with full cats it sounds beautiful.

Doesnt the muffler delete drone it ?

No from a person that had MBRP way better.

Not against MBRP any exhaust just isn't better than muffler delete in my opinion but your money.
