Hey Guys, Bought my 2020 Kia Stinger end of October, Have since purchased Catch Can, K&N Typhoon intakes and Xforce Cat Back Varex Exhaust. Started with fitting the Xforce but ran into the following dramas:

Hired a Hoist $154 per day to do the job but........
  1. FOR STARTERS THERE WAS NO INSTRUCTIONS IN THE BOX OR ONLINE (Called Xforce, spoke to Andrew requesting instructions and this was his response : “The product manager hasn’t had time to make up instructions up for this kit yet, Aaaaw just look up the instructions online for the VF Holden SS V8 as they are pretty close I think” REALLY?

  1. Both holes on the flange mounts of both the down pipes were way too small to fit over the KIA exhaust studs and then had to be drilled out to fit??

  1. Both nuts on the mounting tab of the Passenger side down pipe were mis-aligned to the bracket so you could not get the bolts in, again had to tap them out to get the bolts in??

  1. After all the above issues we thought we were good to go, but then when we started to bolt everything up from down pipes thru to the back and then the whole system just pulled up hard against the Tailshaft!!! This was in the Hotdog Muffler section of the system. We also noticed that the Passenger side down pipe was hard up again the heatshield/floor pan of the car !!!

So after all of the above issues, especially Point 4. We decided to remove the XFORCE system and refit the stock system as it was deemed to be far too Dangerous to leave a Brand New Car with it fouling the Tailshaft!!!
Now I’m working with the supplier for either a credit or a shop to modify to fit and Xforce pay, but probably won’t do after reading everyone response on here. Should have done more research before purchasing the system as I see on the forum, others have had all sorts of issues with the Xforce system (mostly drone) however I can’t say I experienced that because the I could drive the car with the Tailshaft hard against the hotdog brackets! Car is fine by the way as we were very careful using a lot of rags etc. and once we saw what was going on XFORCE rubbish was removed!

Next will be K&N system, looking forward to that!! Whooosssss!

In Perth Mate, Yeah was going to go with the factory Bi-modal but believe or not the Kia salesman said it was a waste of money and should buy aftermarket. I’m looking at the Ark system now.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Those of us with the Bi-modal enjoy it. Engineered for the Stinger, subtle sound, no drone, KIA warranty.

Hi Kando,
Sorry to read about your experience, but wish I had read your post prior to my XForce instal.
My XForce cat back Varex exhaust, was supplier installed, so I did not have the instal problems that you had.
Howver, it has all been downside since and removal can't come quick enough. Around town, the drone has been almost tolerable, but on a recent 120 kilometre country trip, mostly freeway, the drone was not bearable. Had to swallow frequently to clear my ears.
I contacted XForce and they actually acknowledged the problem and yet they continue to sell the system. One born every minute I guess.
There may be a way of reducing the drone, but I don't want to put good money after bad, chasing a solution.

Congrats and welcome! It really sucks getting aftermarket parts that are poorly designed and engineered for the price they sell the stuff. Sorry you had to deal with that mess.

Thank you Will I Am.
All fixed, and back to normal. Enjoying the quiet refinement of my car again.
Clarifying, it wasn't the noise that bothered me, but the type of noise.

Yeah I ended up with a credit from Car a mods and the. Purchases a Borla s type and some AliExpress tips and no probs Love it, No drone at any speed. I know what you mean about the drone, my mate with a Stinger has the fuse pulled on his Bimodal so the exhaust is permanently open and the drone is shocking!

Hi, I have the same issue with the force but sort of now compromised with them closed in comfort around town and open in sports anywhere else. I have not taken it on a long trip yet so will have to do that. Hated them now sort of like them

Oh, howdy. I haven't seen you before. Late welcome. :P
