I believe the "drive" display resets after the car had been off for 4 hours (check the manual, authoritative answer is in there). I've never had any of this reset unexpectedly.
Yes, that might explain it. I got in the settings and selected "OFF" for the "Drive" reset option. I have confidence that "Drive" will stop resetting from now on.The "ACCUMULATED" reset is controlled in the settings or via holding the "OK" button. The "DRIVE" appears to reset after a pre-determined (unknown to me) time.
I use the accumulated and reset it with each fuel fill. I then keep a spreadsheet of MPG, cost, etc, etc. To date, 3000 miles and the trip computer has been a bit optimistic on the MPG. For instance, the accumulated says 23-24 MPG, however, when divide total miles driven by total fuel gallons put into the tank, the number is a few MPG lower. This is all daily driving so have not had the chance to see how close the data is on a longer cruise type drive.Yes, that might explain it. The only reason why we would want to reset the "Accumulated Info" screen is to keep a record of an entire trip, while using "Drive" to record individual stages along the way. I prefer (so far) to not reset my "Accumulated Info" because it reflects the car's history from the outset, i.e. leaving the dealer's lot. I had less than 30 miles on my car when I took possession of it.

I have seen the DRIVE mode up to 29 while using cruise control on open freeway however so i am optimistic for that...even if 1 or 2 below that in actuality
As most know, the radio volume goes down when you go in reverse. <- can this be disabled? Safety preferably. I also noticed that if you open the sun roof, the a/c fan lowers in speed.
That's what I use the B trip screen for. I always use the A for fill up's and B for anything else. Even miles from last oil change.Yes, and then I would set it to not reset at all, ever. But I am talking about it randomly resetting.
I have used a speadsheet for the last 4 cars to keep track of MPG from the first fill up to the last. Also had a formula to compare the the computer calculation from the manual calc. The 4 cars (all Korean), ranged from 1 to 2.5 mpg on the high side. My first tank on the Stinger was 2.7 high on the car's computer. My last car (Santa Fe Sport 2017 Turbo) was 1.4 mpg for about 40 fill ups. This was the best I every experienced.Did you count the first tankful that came with the car? Very interesting if the car computer does not align with real data tracking. Hyundai has already been punished for overstating EPA fuel economy numbers, but this is another way to deceive customers or influence satisfaction.
Thanks for doing the hard work of manual tracking--something only a fraction of one percent of people will do. Please keep going and let us know in a while whether the trend lines have changed.
Discovered the use of the quick turn signal. Instead of pushing the turn signal all the way until you feel the click, you push it half way and the turn signal comes on for 3 flashes and turns off automatically. Ideal use for lane changes. Friend of mine said you can adjust the number of flashes but haven't figured that out yet.
It's the note paper icon on the steering wheel (next to cruise), click over to the User Settings icon (the gear wheel), then click "Lights". Turns signals is the option at the top.Discovered the use of the quick turn signal. What little red light is that? The only little red light I see blinking is behind the media screen.Have had my car for 6 months and just discovered the little red light that blinks when you hit a button on the fob. I was and am easily amused!
It's on the key fob itself on the side. Pretty neat once you notice it.What little red light is that? The only little red light I see blinking is behind the media screen.
Well, dog my cats, so it is.It's on the key fob itself on the side. Pretty neat once you notice it.
Well, dog my cats, so it is.I wonder what its true purpose is.
