Let me go back to the start of this conversation: When a phone is connected to the USB Port (for example, when Apple CarPlay is in use), what are some suggested techniques to assist in remembering to remove it when leaving the car?
My interesting discovery for today was that Kia's Stinger L.S.D. option is only for RWD drive cars. I thought the only "driver" benefit of a GT2 was an L.S.D, and while that may be true of the RWD models, the AWD models (except the base 2.0L) are all the same in that respect.
The AWD models (except for the base 2.0L), all use what Kia calls "Dynamic Torque Vectoring", which is a fancy way of saying that torque vectoring (adjusting how much torque is sent the to front or rear tires) is augmented by individual wheel braking.
Another interesting/confusing thing is it says on the US website that the GT doesn't have an electronically controlled suspension. Huh? In the "custom" mode, I can set the suspension between "comfort" and "sport". Either it's a typo on the site, or it's a ghost option in the menu. I thought during my test drive it firmed it up, but now I'll have to check again.
Am I missing a setting somewhere to do at least this part?
On US GT2, it’s a driver convenience setting to lock on shift or speed, and unlock on park or ignition-off.
I found there’s no physical rewind button, you have to be in the media “app” and press on the screen to rewind and fast forward. I don’t understand manufacturers these days, they want us to keep our eyes on the roads but yet they all hind some of the most basic things in screens.
The up,down button works but it’s a very slow search speed.I think you can just hold down the up or down button on the steering wheel to FF or REW, but try it. The interface is so badly dsigned I don't count on anything working logically.

Nope!Again, the industry standard is to start with a slow search and then speed up if the button is held for more than 4 or 5 seconds... Did KIA do that?

I could do with a "physical rewind button" - not entirely sure I'd make some of the life choices I did......I found there’s no physical rewind button, you have to be in the media “app” and press on the screen to rewind and fast forward. If you where in radio mode you can’t rewind or fast forward. Only works if your playing mp3.Didn’t work, all it did was skipped channels. I’ll play around in the settings later, maybe there’s something in there for it.
