Kind of related, since it is about "rolling" up the windows
I'm exactly happy with the way it works on the Stinger.
I believe the idea is to lock the windows out from the kids in the back seat, especially playing by repeatedly opening/closing the windows. I keep that lock on always so my kids don't have control, but my wife sitting next to me can open if she needs without bothering the driver.
My wife's Toyota Rav4 is annoying because the window lock LOCKS OUT THE DRIVER TOO! So what happens is my kid rolls down the window. If I lock him out then the window's staying down, so now I'm suddenly in a battle of wills, holding the UP button while he holds DOWN. Ultimately, he lacks the wisdom and patience of adulthood so will let go of the button. The window will inch up before he holds it down again. A few cycles of this and the window's back up! THEN I lock him out and am done with it.
