I decided to have my wheels and exhaust tips powder coated and from various people found out who in town was the best place to go. Turns out they only paint and outsource powder coating to another company, no worries. So essentially this "top tier" collision repair spot had to remove the wheels send them, inflate them and put them back on. I go to pick up the car and as I drive off some bad sound starts and the smell of burning rubber, they put the rear wheels on the front and later I noticed they failed to inflate the tires to the correct psi, so they did about 33% of the job correctly.
The company that did the powder coating, they did great.
I guess I need to lower my expectations from expecting people to do their jobs and just be pleased they didn't set the f*cking car on fire. I go to work everyday with the thought I need to be on point so I don't hurt or accidently kill someone. I need to lighten up on myself, just half ass everything and expect people to happy with it.
