Tonight I realized I lost the clock on the infotainment screen. The option is greyed out in the settings too. Anyone ever have this or know a solution? I had the car parked and came back but still no clock.

Never seen that, what about going into settings & reset, otherwise back to the dealer

I will give that a try tomorrow. I would like to avoid the dealer as much as possible. They were clueless about servicing a Stinger.

Ok, shame about your dealer, is there another dealer close, maybe give them a go.

Weird! This the sort of thing I am talking about, when I say there is too much about cars these days. Nobody knows what is really going on with them. They have their little handheld monitors to "tell" them what is happening "in there". But to actually know what is needing replacement when something like this happens? I'm not believing it. The only thing I would do has already been suggested: reset to default settings and cross your fingers. If that doesn't work, then it is time to call the nice young men in their clean white coats, with their handheld diagnostics monitors.

Open a case, not that I expect resolution, but we might at least find out the reason...

I had the same thing happen when I unplugged and replugged the audio fuse (I thought it blew cause my USB stopped working). Evidently, that fuse powers the clock as well. I couldn't find a way to set the time in the Settings menus, so it probably receives updates via GPS or radio.

Since this thread, I have learned about the reset button. Haven't resorted to it for anything. But if I lost my clock, I'd try the reset button first; to see if that worked right now, instead of having to wait for the system to sort itself out.

Tonight , my car just did the same thing. Did you ever figure out what the actual problem is

I did it a little different on my Sorento when it did this. I had the car off and removed and reinstalled the SD card, it booted back up (car was outside with clear view of the sky) and the radio rebooted and my time was back.

This happened when I disconnected the battery to work on installing some hardwiring. It came back after a few minutes of calibration, sounds like you *may* have some electrical issue if it keeps happening. If it's happened once, I wouldn't worry about it.
