I lost my clock?

I tried the reset. It didn't help. I never touched the fuses.

I am not sure what caused it or how it corrected itself but it has not been an issue again.
How long did it take to correct itself mine just happened

As a Kia tech, i can say that when it comes to weird issues like this, we are clueless. We are told by kia to have customer contact UVO to get it fixed. I have one in my stall doing this right now and I have to google it to even get a clue how to fix this. BTW, the tablets only give us live engine and body data about the particular car I am working on a the time. It has ZERO information on UVO problems and for us to get an update for a UVO problem is more hassle than its worth. Plus, I doubt I could even get paid to fix it. Crappy situation all around for everybody, Trust me. In fact, Im losing money just being here..

This just happened to me a few minutes ago. It also happened on the Optima that I traded in for the Stinger. The only way it could be fixed is to buy an update. Don’t even bother asking the dealerships. They are clueless. I called Kia directly and told them about it. Shipped me an update for the car and it worked fine. Can’t believe I have to ha e an update for the Stinger already and I’ve only had it for 6 months!!!!

Nevertheless, welcome and thank you for taking the time!

updates come out all the time for the various computer systems for any car anymore. Ive seen over a dozen engine software updates in the last year alone. We just cant keep up.

I contacted Kia techline about this issue and they directed me to do a factory reset on the UVO head unit. I wasnt able to because the customer didnt want to leave the car with me long enough to figure it out. So I fight that too. Everyone thinks its so easy. It isnt and these things come at us fast and furious and there isnt a clear fix everytime.

@keithfoco welcome.

What do you say to a TPMS system that confirms all four sensors are good, yet no psi info is delivered? A bad sensor was replaced, and the psi display lasted all of twenty minutes, then returned to the startup screen (Tire Pressure Drive to Display). And I'm getting weird suggestions such as, "lower the psi to 38" and "put the OEM wheels back on". Heh.

with aftermarket wheels, there is no saying. The wheels may be interfering with the signal to the tpms module. As long as everything was swapped over and new sensor is correct and programmed correctly (probably the issue), it should be working with no issue. Was it done at a dealer or tire/wheel shop? It may need to go to a dealer to do a complete reprogram of the system with the factory tools.

I had TSW wheels and aftermarket sensors put on in Feb 2019. No programming was necessary, the Stinger picked up the signal and everything worked fine. Last September the LR aftermarket sensor died: the new one picked up after about twenty minutes of driving and worked fine. A couple of weeks ago the system flat-lined (Drive to Display): after c. twenty minutes yesterday, after replacing the dead RR sensor, the same happened again. Took it to Kia and the diagnostic showed four good sensors but no returned psi info. The tech drove my car around for c. twenty minutes resetting (reprogramming?) but the TPMS system didn't accept it.

I swap out my TSW wheels for the OEM during the winter and the TPMS system has always picked up either set of wheels without a hitch, until now.

Was told by Kia yesterday that they will not authorize a continued diagnostic unless the OEM wheels/sensors are back on the car.

We have had a lot of bad luck with every single aftermarket sensor. FYI. Some of them work ok for a short time and other do not work at all. My new recommendation is to go with OEM sensors every time. I know it sucks, but its what we see.

Tonight I realized I lost the clock on the infotainment screen. The option is greyed out in the settings too. Anyone ever have this or know a solution? I had the car parked and came back but still no clock.
