did you trade in back to stock? how much did your trade in get for you? Ima facing scenarios where I would possibly trade in a stinger. looked it up on edwards and right now it's either side of $25,000 average dealers are paying around here.

I left my intakes and custom exhaust on. I was so over it. They only gave me $25k for my stinger. I ended up upside down but for the peace of mind IMO and MY CASE it was worth it.

Couldn’t do it anymore with the stinger. I’m satisfied with my decision.

Yeah, that was quite the experience you had with the Stinger - you certainly didn't give-up on it easily...

BIG congrats on the RCF - it looks GREAT! I would encourage you to drive it as-is with no mods, and just enjoy it for what it is. Since it's a Toyota, it'll last 'forever'.

As for me, I've got my eye out for a Lexus LC500 - I think they are drop-dead-gorgeous, and it too has the NA 5.0L like your RCF.

Thanks my guy. I was always keeping an eye out for these even when I had my stinger. I’m definitely leaving it stock for a good while just to enjoy it. Those lc 500s are bad ass. Well beyond my price range but beautiful vehicle. I don’t know what it is but the minute I posted about my trading in the stinger I saw at least two or three posts a day about ppl parting out , trading in etc. I did try my best with the hand I was dealt with the stinger. Wishing the best for you guys and girls.

With my lap3 ecu tune and Afe intakes I was impressed. Never got around to getting it Dyno. I would say everyone gets a vehicle for their specific reason. From my experience and my little time with the Lexus Rc f from a dig the stinger all day. Roll 50mph and above I’ll give it to the rc f. Rc f takes a lil while to get going but once it’s going it’s moving. Stinger has that great torque curve and get up. Both the rc f and stinger tuned not sure who would win that but it would get spicy and interesting. I’m pretty sure my experience with the stinger would have been different if I purchased a brand new one or used one that didn’t have prior problems.

Yeah that’s one of the first distinguishing factors with the stinger I noticed. That torque is a beast even stock. I agree on the dealership experience. There are a few out there that are actually good but majority one of the worst car experiences. Makes you wonder why they are discontinuing the stinger with so many ppl parting out. What are you thinking about replacing the stinger with ?

Maybe an EV, depends on whether it's months or years off, and what my driving needs are at the moment. The car market is still uninviting right now so I'm not in a rush.

Loving it my guy. Not one complaint so far. I love the fact with this vehicle despite it being a v8 with aftermarket exhaust if I’m just cruising you would just look right past the vehicle. As soon as you get on it it wakes up. Wish I would have waited before trading in the q50 rs before hopping into the stinger. We live and we learn. I recently got it Dyno. I want to hit the drag soon to do a few passes. So far just cosmetic mods and enjoying the stock life. Cheers
