How Often Do You Receive Compliments?

In Perth all we seem to get is snide remarks and disdainful looks. The Kia brand is snubbed a bit on this side of Australia . Happened to me when a fairly nice Holden SS sidled up to me on the freeway. I nodded at the guy in showing appreciation that his car looked good and he gave me the bird back ! He got jammed in traffic later, serves him right lol.

Then you need to move to THIS side of Oz, there are so many Kia's on the road, namely Ceratos, Sportages and Sorentos. Stingers grab the attention as they are not sighted as often. There are so many "Mustangs ", I see one every time I go out that hubby has taken to calling them " Falcons " no offence intended if you own a Mustang ( I actually do like them, wish their safety rating was higher )

When I see a mustang I call them by their colour eg: “Blue death trap”
Again the safety rating is deplorable but I do like the look as well.

I got the opposite 2 weeks ago here in Sydney, a tricked up SS merged beside me on the way home, he saw me & gunned it, I stayed with him all the way & played for about 5kms I was literally holding back, came to the lights at the end & pulled alongside he had his thumb up & said “that effing thing goes & looks awesome”
Not a bad compliment from a guy running a tricked up 6.2 litre.

Both my Optima and hubby's Cerato go off the poke quickly, I was once behind him at the lights, they turned green, we have quick reactions I guess at the lights because both of us had turned the corner and the other cars were only just moving. He laughed later and said " I thought you'd enjoy that "
