How much are you willing to pay? (lease)

Well chaps, I'll be able to tell you all exactly what Kia are offering in the UK for the Stinger, as my Mustang GT has developed yet MORE problems and it's not even two years old. Less than 18k miles on it, too. I'm selling it whilst resale value is still astronomically high (it's only lost 14% of its value in the UK, I'm effectively getting my deposit and trade-in back and then some).

So I'll be getting finance quotes for the 2.0T and the 3.3TT. I'll ask how much the 2.2TD is if anyone is interested.

Yes i'd be very interested, good luck!

53,xxx for the fully loaded gt2 so im assuming 600 a month 2k due at signing at launch like how my g80 sport was. ps thats if you drop the sale price 3k

I dont think there is a chance of a $600 lease payment on a loaded GT2 at launch unfortunately. A $50k K900 right now is $500/mo and thats only because they have $12k lease cash manufacturer offer available right now. The Stinger is not going to get a $12k offer... It wont get any incentives most likely. Not at launch.

im saying that based on my numbers. g80 sport first week it came out i got it for 630 a month 10/36 2k due at signing. most people will qualify for the conquest also so then you only need to drop the sale price 2k. trust me most dealers with mark it up but there WILL be a dealer that doesn't, you just need to find it

An Infiniti Q50 Red sport with an MSRP of approximately 54k is 419 a month for 39 months with 4900 due at signing. Spread that out over the 39 months and you're looking at around 550 a month. Kia better have something comparable because the Red Sport is actually faster and has a name that people are more likely to spend their money on. A Jaguar XE lease isn't that expensive either. For MSRP around 45k you can get one for 289 with 3500 down. Obviously that's not the highest specced one, but you get my point. If their lease is too expensive, I feel they'll lose out on a great deal of potential leasees.

I haven't tried to lease the q50 but did go to a Jag dealer. That lease Jag is advertising is a ghost lease. Read the details carefully and go to a dealer and try to get it. You will find the very very specific car the lease details does not exist anywhere. I had the salesman tell me as much. A full optioned xe r sport had a lease of over 800 a month with 4500 down.
My guess is during the first few months a fully loaded gt2 will be 3500 down and 600 - 650 a month on a lease.

I was going to buy a Stinger this Saturday to replace my Mustang, but re-evaluating my cash-flow I've had to forgo the Stinger (for now) and grab myself something a bit cheaper to replace my lemon Ford Mustang. :(

It's still a good car, A Kia Optima '3' in Red. 7-Speed DCT auto and a 1.7L Diesel engine. Not fast or sporty by any means but I'll save so much money on fuel, insurance and tax.

Hopefully I'll be in a better situation somewhere down the line (maybe in a year or two) to grab myself a Stinger GT-S.

However, for those wondering about Stinger prices in the UK, I do have a ballpark figure for the 2.0T.

If we assume heavy depreciation (I'm talking absolute worst case scenario, 40% of value like the Optima), and £8000 down, you're looking at just under £380 a month for the GT-Line S 2.0T

I guess we shall see. Looking at the Edmunds Jaguar XE lease forum, it seems that people are still getting decent deals on it. I just saw a Korean model Stinger at my dealership while getting the oil changed on my Optima. I think I'm pretty much sold on it. Let's just hope the lease is reasonable.

I will do max 400 for a lease... I am banking on getting just bottom trim GT or the GT1. I don't need GT2.

I really just want that twin turbo V6, the hatchback and the brembos and I'm a satisfied man.

I probably don't HAVE to have the GT 2, but I don't see myself going for less features than I have now and I love ventilated seats.

As the Stinger gets closer to launch. What do you all think a lease will be? If it's close to the G80sport shouldn't I just get a G80sport?

IMO the interior of the G80 sport is way nicer looking. Seems more "posh". The outside of the stinger looks a little more sporty than the sport does. I have not sat in or driven either car though. I plan to wait at least until the G70 comes out look at and drive all 3 and then see where the best deal is at.
I've heard rumors here and elsewhere that the stinger is not going to be widely available until the spring anyway. You are not going to be able to get a deal on a car when they only have a few hundred in the country. It would not surprise me if there was no lease option out of the gate and it was purchase only until spring or later, or if they are leasing it, it is not competitive so they force you into a purchase. Look at what Honda is doing with the civic type r. 6 whole dollars cheaper to lease it.

So it’s officially November in America. Where is the pricing and the build your own configurator on www.kia.com???

I’m tired of “coming soon”!!!

What's your source for this information? I've heard nothing official, other than "later this year" or even "early December."

Edit: I misunderstood the comment, but multiple people schooled me on how to read it. Thanks...it is November, and I'm ready for progress as well!

I know nothing more than that. Just ready to have more solidified information since last update was 9.26! Tired of all the speculation on arrival details and final pricing. :-)

I think he meant it like "it's already November 1st, what's taking so long?". Not "the Stinger is officially coming in November".

The source is any calendar. :p Yes, it's officially November. Don't worry, I took it the same exact way you did. :p

Definitely. It's supposed to be. It's like the C-Class vs E-Class, 3-Series vs 5-Series, etcetera. The higher you go up, the more posh the interior is...

I actually prefer the interior of the Stinger. It just looks sportier to me which is what I'm looking for. I guess if the lease is terrible I could end up going with a G80 Sport. However, after sitting in a Stinger, I'm almost to the point where I would just find a way to pay what I needed for it. I guess we'll see how it turns out soon enough if they can get their act together lol.

See if anyone notices all the little bombs I am dropping. You are looking at December (possibly early December) for any Stinger to arrive at a dealership. The first catch right now is that the best way to get what you want is through pre-ordering. Pre-ordering pretty much right now will get your vehicle in on the first batch going out. Last catch, this all depends on the color because some are already here in the US but some other colors you will have to wait longer for (January of next year).
