Needs to be more options. None of those describe where I am at.
I am significantly less than 50/50 but I have not filed it out entirely.
Should have at least
100%
75 - 99
50 - 75
50 50
25 - 50
Less than 25
No chance.

I've bugged my salesman enough that all the other employees probably think I live at the dealership. :)

I added a catch all category, thought i'd keep it simple(I have problems deciding which cereal to buy and just end up walking out of the grocery store...)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Just placed my order last Friday - might be another category
Congratulations! Now the waiting game... :o :p

Just spoke to my dealership about the "build your own" on the website and if it was time for me to come in and talk trims, options, colors and numbers. They said come in Saturday!
Nice! First thing Saturday morning?

If we got the same stinger gt2 like overseas I would of said 100%. I have been debating now since we lost so many options and choices to choose from. They turned a must have car to a hmm there might be a better option.

My lease ends next September. That should give me enough time to really see how the depreciation is and whether or not a better option for another car becomes available. If I had to guess, I would say there is a 60% chance I'll be driving a Stinger in a year.

I was 100% at first. As the saga has continued, it's continually dropped. My lease is up in June, but I was going to upgrade early. Now I am going to wait and see what the G70 brings since Kia keeps screwing up. I would say I'm like 40/60 right now.

I am in the same boat as you. At first I was 100% on board with the GT2 only because I wanted the ventilated seats, 360 deg camera, LSD, HUD, and all the driver assistance features. Now I think I'm out for the first year of Stinger releases. I'm not willing to compromise due to one or several features missing out, only to find it being very possibly included next year. It only makes sense. Unless by some miracle, Kia sees that all this nonsense of decontenting for the the US market is causing so much controversy and somehow makes them options but that is realistically doubtful. What I still don't get is why they don't just follow like the other NA or Europe releases... It's just easier for streamlining, marketing, and manufacturing purposes. Idk I feel like their whole marketing is an entire disaster. Perhaps it's because all of us has been following things very closely and we just know better.

I've been going back and forth between purchasing a Stinger and a Ford Fusion Sport, however, I'm pretty disappointed with build a Stinger website. It seems like there are to many colors, interiors, and options that aren't available at various trim levels; it's very confusing.

What do you like about the Fusion better than the Stinger?

Things have just gotten REAL serious here--I just got a call to schedule a test drive for Tuesday morning.

Here's the bad news: the rep that called me said that only THREE GT2s are coming to the entire West Coast. I hope I didn't misunderstand. On the phone he said only three 6-cylinders, which I take to mean GT, GT1, and GT2. But he had to check on color and some other info for me and texted me that info, and in the text he said, "The Gt2 is going to be in red with a black interior! It's one of 3 in the western region and that's all of the west Coast." YIKES!!! This is not promising for us out here, and I'm wondering what it means for other regions.

He did add that there will be "great incentives" that I'll find out about Tuesday. This is the first I've heard about any incentives. He did seem to think it qualifies for the 0% financing I saw a TV ad about last night.

Now to get through the next 5 days, 19 hours, 40 minutes.

I'm beginning to believe that we Canadians were lucky to only have 2 options to choose from and 6 colors. At first I was jealous of the choices other countries had but it all seems to be confusing now.

That's a good question, because I honestly think the Stinger is a better and more modern car; I just can't configure it with the options/colors I'd like. With the the Stinger if I don't want a sun roof I'm stuck with the base GT model. If I want the Electronic Controlled Suspension then I have to get a GT1 or GT2 along with the sun roof I don't want. With the Fusion Sport they all have the CCD suspension and the sunroof is an option, not mandatory. Also I don't have to pay 50K+ to get ventilated seat.
Now while I have sat in the Stinger, I haven't driven it yet so I maybe its worth the extra 10K and options/colors I don't want.
