Great forum. Knowledgeable adults in the forum, vendor members posting, knowledge seeking adults, good format, very well put together site.

Very grateful I found it (well, google found it).

I am a husband, a father, a grandfather, an engineer, a motorcycle enthusiast and now a Stinger enthusiast.

Just replaced a 2018 2.0t Accord Sport with a Stinger GT. I did like the Accord, it’s a fine car. But i said I’m throwing in the towel on fuel economy and front wheel drive and here I am.

I’m here to gain information and hopefully provide some useful information to others.

Live in Orlando, FL area.

G’day & welcome to the forum, plenty of information to be gained here...enjoy your new ride it’s a lot of fun....

Welcome. Great intro.

Congrats, I'm curious how you feel the Accord matches up against the Stinger when it comes to handling, braking and power.

Howdy. Adults are usually cool. But "kids" are welcome here. ;)

Is your GT AWD or RWD? What color? Where do you live? (kids ask a lot of questions, but of course you already know that)

I had looked at the current gen Accord (2.0T Sport or Touring), but once I started looking at the more sport sedan portion of the spectrum and looked at the Stinger, my level of sense went out the door. :p That being said, welcome to this band of nutjobs, and enjoy your ride! :)

Welcome to the forum and congratulations. What color did you get?

It’s pearly white with red interior. Had a black Accord.

Someone once told me once you go black you never go back. They didn’t live in Florida!

Oh nutjobs eh? I’ll fit right in

Accord handles well. I can’t say which handles better but no comparison on FWD vs RWD when hitting the gas hard. Brakes...not sure. I think I’ll have to get the rotors turned or replaced as the car came with a slightly pulsing brake pedal. For now I’m pretty easy on the brakes. Overall this car is mostly superior to an Accord with the engine being the biggest difference. The Accord is not slow by any means and got great gasoline mileage but i4’s don’t compare to V6’s

Common issue. Search the forums, you will see a few brake threads. The tl;dr version is that the rotors are fine, the pads are leaving deposits. A good bedding in will clear the rotors of excess material in the short term, but the long term solution is better pads.

Yep I’ve read it and actually could see that the pads were leaving material as the outline of a pad was impregnated into the disk.

Similar story only I bought the Accord then changed my mind.
