Has your dealer called you out on posting your deal details online?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Are you saying yours did?

Mine has appreciated the exposure and referrals from me harping about my deal.
Yes. I updated my deal details to clarify / set expectations more realistically. But IMO it's not professional.

$55,500 including winter rims and tires, 3M bra and tint, and tax, for a GT Limited (GT2)

Thats pretty sad that they called you out about it after I mentioned the deal they gave you. When they gave me their best price, I asked to take it home to go over with the wife and think about it. They said no they wanted to keep the prices 'in house' that I could call my wife from there only. I passed on signing. I spoke with them again the next day and I did mention your price at that point, they told me you were a super nice guy, but that you were essentially lying to me.
I don't have the exact numbers because they wouldn't let me keep them, but it was around $54200 for the car including tax/delivery, etc, then $2200 for tires and $1200 for tint/3m . So basically 58k for the same thing you got for $55.5. The more I think about this, even if they do call me back with the pricing I want I don't think I want to deal with them at this point.

I can see why they would be concerned because my final price happened after a bunch of mixups. It wasn’t what anyone was aiming for originally. It also sounds like they are being pushy. The positive thing I can say is that they kept working with me until I was happy, even after I took possession of the vehicle.

Honest dealers are not embarrassed at their pricing. Neither do they refuse to allow you to take your quotations home unless they know they are out of the ballpark compared to another dealer. Turn around and walk if you get any such pressure to SIGN NOW.

FYI they called be back today and left a couple of messages. They are now willing to throw in the tint and 3M that they previously told me there was zero chance of getting. I guess the car didn't sell as fast as they expected. When they initially told me there was zero chance of getting the deal I wanted, I put down a deposit for a Genesis G70 preorder. Its too bad. I would have bought the car if they gave me the deal I wanted when I wanted it. Instead they waited to the end of the month and now missed a sale.

Enjoy your G70! But you’re not out of the woods yet until you come to an agreement on pricing of that car haha.

Yeah, it's amazing what some of these dealers will do when they think they're losing a sale. Patience is a virtue, and knowing your dealer costs is key to knowing what they are hiding in those monthly payment numbers.
