Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Was at my dealership today, they added some extras on a blue Stinger. K&N intakes, borla exhaust, stillen front lip and spoiler(bolt on), 20” black matte rims, suspension upgrade and lowered. They fired it up for me and it sounded as sweet as it looked.

Just as a general comment and not directed at this dealer because I love the idea of what they’ve done with the car but how can dealers expect to be taken seriously when they mod a car like this themselves then wag their finger at someone who installs OCC’s and tell them they’ve just voided their warranty?

Totally agree to a point, my dealer currently has a micro blue GT & has had the OE rims powdercoated gloss black & is going to get it lowered. I asked him about engine mods but at that dealership it’s a no, no.

Because none of those mods will increase wear and tear on the engine at all? The only one of those that could arguably even affect engine performance would be the exhaust, and even then it's only marginally going to allow for better air flow, so it's not as though the powerplant is working harder than intended because it's installed. I mean, dealerships are just businesses trying to make as much money as possible, so it's no surprise that they don't want to risk being on the hook for warranty-covered fixes while also being eager to install expensive mods they know won't result in warranty issues. As for being "taken seriously," I don't think anyone has ever taken dealerships seriously from an enthusiast perspective. It's usually just convenience.

I think it’s a dealers sales gimmick, look at what you can do, they sell that one & only modded one as a demo, but in the mean time have sold say 10-20 stock ones based on what people perceive they can do, any potential “warranty” issues with the modded one is absorbed in the stock sales of the others....simple.

So, today (8/19) about 1:30pm I’m going East on the 101 Ventura Fwy near Thosand Oaks and I see something white coming West on said freeway. Seeing the dual hood vents as it came closer sealed the deal. So who was driving West on the 101 today?! Are you here? Did you see a flash of red going the other way?

I had a Corvette Z06 back in 2010-11. It was the only one I ever saw in the area. I went overseas for 7 months and when I came back there were 5 or 6 others rolling around, one identical to mine. Within a month of being home I got rid of it.

I hate having cars that so many others near me have. I love that I never see Stingers where I live. I moved here July 19th and have seen none yet. The last place I lived I saw only 3.

I love its rarity.

Just spent 2 weeks holidaying in Austria. Driving on the autobahn from munich to Salzburg and back: Not one single sighting in that time.
Checked the pricing and our cars are very pricey indeed.
So glad I have mine in Canada.
