Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

They must be proliferating! Saw a black GT/AWD on the 210 late this afternoon; we were separated by a lane and jockeyed forward and back in the traffic for 3 or 4 miles between Monrovia and East Pasadena, but I have no indicaton he/she noticed mine. Then in the early evening I saw a white one go by in opposing traffic on Los Feliz--don't know what trim since all I saw was the rear quarter, and I wasn't in mine by then. I know my friends were rolling their eyes when I got excited about two sightings in one day.

@Paul32: sixty-five here, closer to sixty-six. Older guys like Stingers, it seems, somewhat disproportionately. I'm glad you didn't say, "Like, I'll be, like 80, next month." ;)

I’m 62 so ... yeah!

Well, its a really young 80, play pickleball 5 days per week. Something like tennis. Not old enough to play golf yet.

I'd like to think even if I were 16 again I'd still like the Stinger. I think this forum skews older just because more millenials aren't in a position to buy $50k cars these days, so why sign up for forums about something you can't get yet. I feel pretty lucky just to have been able to buy a base GT for my age x $1k. It's no coincidence the kids today place a much higher importance on a cell phone they can pick up for a few hundred bucks.

But on the other hand, the older guys have to consider their bad backs and all their aches and pains. It's right on the border for bending down to get in. I would pass on my daughter's previous BMW Z4.

I just spotted a micro blue GT on the Garden State Parkway, gave him a honk and thumbs up. Exactly like my car.

And for the 4th time now, I was in the SORENTO

Wow. I’m kinda in shock right now and wish I got a picture. I was driving in Delray Beach, FL and just saw a bright Purple Stinger! It must have been a wrap, but it looked like a nice metallic clear coat finish. It was truly beautiful:thumbup:

And I’m starting to notice a trend, my posts in the thread are coming closer and closer together. Awesome to see and go team Stinger!:D

Saw a white GT with dealer plates plates earlier while riding with a friend. The driver was racing another car and almost wiped out at well over the speed limit.

Not what I wanted to see the first time I encountered a Stinger in the wild....

A week ago while driving my Deep Chroma Blue Stinger, an owner of a Aurora Black Stinger honked his horn at me, I waved, I drove slow thinking he would do a U turn, but no, tonight I saw a white Stinger driving in the opposite direction, I almost ran off the road trying to check it out..haha, but I was not driving my Stinger.

@StingerGT68: That never happens to someone with only one ca

Indeed. Our sales rep related an anecdote, of a test driver who insisted on scaring the rep with his excessive speed, and the rep warned him to stop or he'd stop the drive, and so he did: apparently the rep can turn the car off from the passenger seat. Hmm!
