Just passed a black GT in Passaic County, NJ...And I was in my Sorento YET AGAIN

The story's pretty much the same here in Los Angeles County, although I have to admit I'm not on the road every day. I was shocked at how many Ghiblis and Panameras I was seeing until I woke up and realized they've been for sale so much longer, so it only makes sense. But I've seen as many Giulias as Stingers on the streets, which makes no sense at all to me, considering how much time they reportedly spend in the maintenance bay, not on the road. But maybe a good thing I don't see many Stingers, since when I do, I get so excited I nearly cause an accident.

I’ll keep an eye out for you. My Hive is on the Westside.

Saw two more Stingers yesterday while I was on my car cruise. Black GT in Payson, and a Sunset Yellow between Camp Verde and Payson on 260.

Saw 3 Stingers on the streets of Montreal this Grand Prix weekend: a black, a white, and an atomic blue! Always puts a smile on my face to see other Stingers on the road

I've only seen one Stinger on the road here and it's the one that the GM of the Kia dealership is driving as a demo. However, my car was spotted this weekend. I was at a wedding and, at the reception that evening, the wedding photographer tracked me down for some Stinger tslk.

As it turns out, I had parked my Stinger beside his CRV during the ceremony. He asked around at the reception and was able to find the owner of the red Stinger Turns out that his other car is a black Stinger that was the second one sold here. Sounds like mine is the fifth or sixth one sold here (the dealership actually delivered two cars the day I got mine last week). He was very pleased to finally talk to another Stinger owner, so we chatted quite a while about our thoughts of the car. He has about 2000 miles on his versus 150 on mine. Interesting how ownership of a relatively rare vehicle draws strangers together.

On a road trip to Sav GA, saw this bad boy just off I95 south of palm coast. Was in the wifes Sorento...Nice!

I hit 5,500 miles on the stinger and still no sightings! I just got back from a 3,000 mile journey that took me to toronto, upper michigan, pretty much all of wisconsin, and then a lot of freeway time through milwaukee/chicago and I90/80 back to NYC. Not a single sighting. Also made a pit stop at a KIA dealer in canada and northern wisconsin that did not even have a stinger!

Great quote- I had a similar experience ... As we were in negotiations to buy a Sorrento for my bride I noticed a Stinger in the showroom. I had no intention of buying two cars but asked about this beautiful machine. They gave me the pitch and I put a deposit on a car I had never driven. The showroom car was non US Spec. Sooo my stinger order facilitated another 2k off the sorrento. Winning - so I thought. The 1st ish red stinger in Tampa was mine and a few months later it arrived. My bride was happy with her Sorrento I had a new car all was perfect until .... she drove the stinger. Things started to change. While driving to her moms house in Georgia in the 3 month old Sorrento here’s what went down. ....WIFE “I really like the stinger” ME “so do I” WIFE “I would prefer a stinger to the Sorrento”. ME inside voice “CRAP” outside voice....”honey you can have my red one” WIFE “no thanks” ... ME - inside voice “hell yea” WIFE “I really want a yellow one” ..... and now we no longer have a Sorrento....

Just saw my first on the road here in Melbourne FL.... it was a white one... not sure weather a GT or not... but Micro Blue head and shoulders over white

Weird, had mine 2 months and trip to San Diego on the beach...have yet to see another Stinger.
