A very sad sighting this afternoon on Mar Vista in Whittier. I was in the slow lane when a very dirty black Stinger—like it had never been washed ever—passed me on the left. It had a large roof sign clamped on, but was going too fast for me to read it by the time I realized what had just passed me. Then it swerved in front of my lane 3 or 4 cars ahead to make a (too) fast right into a narrow commercial street. I actually felt kind of sorry for the car: dirty, sporting tacky advertising, and being driven badly.

Pulled up behind the same car today while cruising Whittier Blvd. I was glad to see it's been washed, and the driver was driving in a safe and sane manner, unlike the first time I saw it. It's a GT and I was able this time to see the Firefly sign. So either a really classy delivery car or rideshare. The wash and the safe driving have restored some of the reputation I dissed earlier.

Oh I'm not the other Stinger in your pic, just saying hi from Rockville. Grew up in Colesville though so not far away. Used to be you could see my yellow one parked right on 355 around Montgomery College every day but now we're all work from home.

Met a fellow Panthera Metal Stinger owner today getting some wine for me and the lady. Loving the stinger community. He had a gt1 Panthera metal stock. Got a chance to talk to him as well. Cool guy.

No picture, but yesterday afternoon, black GT on Washington Blvd. I'm not driving a lot and usually don't report all sitings, but I see one roughly 2 of every 3 times I go out in the Whittier area. Usually white or black, maybe half are GT-whatevers.

I expected to see at least one Stinger when I was getting my taxes done, looking out big picture windows onto a busy street. Not one Stinger! But I did see a 6th generation Grand Prix GT just like my old one, and a 3rd generation Camaro, not my color, but still nostalgic for me. When I bought the Stinger I was looking for a car with at least all my favorite features of those two cars that I'd loved, so it was kinda nice to see a couple of them still on the road and looking well-cared for.
