Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

He's rebadged too - seems pretty rare in Oz. Out of the maybe dozen Stingers I've seen in the wild, none has been rebadged.

Only car enthusiasts buy Stingers - only absolute tragics go the extra mile to rebadge.

I still have all the original badges on my Stinger but I remember a poll conducted on this forum about rebadging and more owners chose to rebadge than stay original. Go figure. I do like the large Stinger script on the rear where the Kia badge is usually. Kia should do this from the factory. It’s a neat look.

Kia Aus doesn't do this on the newer model years? In the US, the large, center "Stinger" script was added to the MY20.

Yes I have seen that with the US cars. I'm not 100 percent sure whether all new Stingers in Aus come out like that or not. Maybe someone on the forum in Oz can answer that.

Just saw a Micro Blue GT AWD and the gal driving didn't even notice me. She was on my butt, came around my side, and didn't acknowledge me. Hurts deep, man.
She's a bloody heathen then probably her husbands car and couldn't give two hoots.

Find a quite straight road dial up launch control and come back and see us in the morning. Symptoms should have passed.

Southbound on Redwood Rd, as I was signaling from the left turn lane to enter Great Harvest's parking lot, a Micro Blue whizzed by me. I did give the thumb up (saw it coming the rearview), but doubt if the driver saw that. :P (this was at c. 4:30 this afternoon)

Spotted a black one at Indian Wells golf course here in Ontario this morning. Pretty sure it's the first time I've seen one in the wild.

saw a black GT with Alberta plates driving into Deep Cove today ..........................

Black one westbound on Whittier Blvd near just east of Hadley at about 2:45 today. I didn't notice it in time to see what trim, as I was eastbound.

I was going to assert that the Micro Blue I saw today was a GT, because of the tiger "teeth" in the lower grill; but visually, how can we be sure anymore? An old style Base or Premium is easy to ID; but they are going to be increasingly rare.

Followed another Silky Silver this afternoon on my way to the hardware store.

Three Stingers in 10 minutes:
3.40pm leaving sons soccer a shiny DCB no acknowledgement, 3.43pm silky silver exiting Emu plains shops, 3.50pm micro blue Gt hwy before Victoria bridge nepean river Emu plains.

Two Silky Silvers in a row must be a rare occurrence. I've never seen another Silky Silver on the road since I got mine.

White GT followed a few minutes later by a Ceramic Grey GT on Wyee Road Wyee Monday afternoon. Red GT yesterday at Lake Haven Shopping Center, and. Panthera Metal Rafa Edition about 5:45pm today on the Pacific Hwy Wyoming. A few other sightings over the past few weeks I haven’t bothered to post

Back on the 4th of February I "participated" in that rare occurrence, down in Torrance, Cali. (that was the time my wife bungled the camera work; but it was the camera's fault, not hers)

Went to cars and coffee today in Englishtown Raceway Park (oh sorry Old Bridge Township) only 2 miles from my house. Saw the chrome red 2268NYP, and an orange GTS. So only 3 Stingers in the crowd. Thought I might see a new Vette. Nope. Saw plenty of CCCM. Glad I have a Stinger.
Also saw a Blue going north on Route 9 Manalapan around 12:15 today. That was me going south in the Black;)

Know what's weird? I've seen almost as many Lamborghini Uri in downtown Philadelphia as I have Stingers. Three Uri, four Stingers. A yellow Urus was parked in our neighborhood Tuesday night.

And I see at least one Maserati almost every day, but I suspect that's due to a huge nearby dealer offering decent lease rates.

Still, I've seen three of the four Stingers this summer, so it looks like the rate is increasing.
