Stinger Base, Silky Silver, southbound 2700 West at 10400 South, c. 1:30. I was on my bicycle waiting to go south, so I had plenty of time to fish my cellphone out of my pocket. I made no bones about taking his picture. A bit later he had U-turned and came back at me northbound.
I just spent 10 days in China (Beijing and Shanghai) and didn't see a single Stinger. I saw plenty of other Kia's, as well as a Mclaren, Bentley's, Maybachs, and even a Dodge Challenger. Do they even sell Stingers in China?

Pardon the delay. Week of July 4th holiday. While getting grocery at the local market in Tustin California, spotted this beauty. I have never seen a blue/purple? California plate before, maybe a plate protector of some sort over it?
Weird! I've never seen a plate with white letters and thought they didn't issue any with them. What does it say the bottom, "West Coast"? Again, weird!

Ahhh, I'd forgotten about those. Thanks for the info. I think it must still be a pilot program here, with only a limited number allowed to be sold, which would account for their rarity. At that cost, I think I know why I forgot about them. Not a chance I'm getting one! But there are advantages. Is it true that if the car is reported stolen, the display can be changed to "STOLEN"?
Spotted my first orange stinger a few days ago heading west on I90 leaving the city. Had the black stinger script...super sharp! I literally spotted her from a 1/4 mile back. Gave it some gas and caught up to her. She was just cruisin around 60 in the far right lane letting all the tricked out ricers zip past her. She didn't need to prove a thing...Gave each other a thumbs up and I left her behind. Beautiful car.

I've seen ONE, at night, on the freeway, as I was passing it (was white). My dealer says they sell 6-8 a week, so I know they have to be out there, but I see more Optimas and Sportages than anything else.
Totally get where you're coming from. They are definitely moving inventory though. Every time I've been on the lot since I got my car the lineup has been different and they're going in and out on test drives. I suppose they could be doing some kind of sleight of hand shuffling them around to look busier, but I don't see a lot of point in that when they have other models sitting in the same stalls on the lot they have been. Is it 6-8 a week? Probably not. I know they're a "volume" dealer, and move a ton of stuff, but everyone exaggerates. Know what I mean?
On my way to work this morning, saw a black GT on Highway 94, and followed them as they merged onto eastbound Highway 70. I merged two lanes away, and because of traffic, couldn't wave or give them a thumbs up as I went past.
Yesterday (or day before?) at intersection of Delridge and.... whateverthell the cross is by AM/PM in West Seattle. Gray, I think a GTx. I waved, but I was accelerating through the intersection.
