Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

A Black one CLC... this morning at 6:20am at the roundabout on Ferrers Rd & Chandos Road, heading north on Ferrers Rd toward Sydney Motorsport Park.

If that's on premium plates black & gold I've seen that one.

I think he is on here or facebook as I saw that number plate on a Black Stinger on a meet. ...I think that's the service manager of Blacktown Kia?

Been really rare spotting one in San Jose for me. Saw 2 in the past year combined until just last week when I saw a red GT parked in the Target on Morrill, then I saw a yellow GT driving on Morrill just a few days later!

I'm really wanting a GT some point this year, but I'm thinking I should just go with a Premium model to be more financially responsible.

Howdy! Don't get what you don't really, really, really want.

How many times have we read advice to "cut to the chase" and get the top trim? Something in between, like a stock GT, might be good enough to "want"; but a 2.0L would be no compromise. Not even to be "financially responsible".

As these guys are saying, don't "settle". Wait until you're able to afford it, and get the Stinger trim you really want.

From my recent personal perspective, I was offered a Premium trim new at one point, but it wasn't what I wanted. I was dead set on a particular trim and I was willing to wait on it.

Tough choice I've been going back and forth on for months since the 2.0 puts out plenty of power to me and I'd find the turbo 6 to be hard to use in Bay Area traffic. My commute is 12 miles/45 minutes just sitting in stop and go(which is why I want the nannies so badly for the ACC). It'd be hard to get a lot of use out of the turbo 6 outside of on-ramps.

Not looking forward to a 200k down payment on a house within the next few years either which is why I'm trying to be good(although technically I shouldn't be buying a new car since I don't really need one haha).

Then you are in the group that finds enough engine in the 2.0L. Just don't fool yourself. If you get out on a road trip and want to enjoy that 3.3L, you'll wish you had paid for one. But if the opportunity to cut loose is fulfilled by the 2.0L, that's the car for you.

@Dahs - make a list of the benefits of getting the base/Premium vs the GTs. Fuel economy will certainly be better with the 2.0T, lighter than the GTs, and if you opt for the Premium, a number of goodies that the GT has (LED headlights, sunroof, Hardan/Karmon stereo, etc.). Having owned a 2.0T kia Optima SX before, it was plenty peppy for me for the time.

Countdown County!! I grew up in Palm Bay, so I had to say something. :)

The ACC is magnificent in stop and go. I’m in Los Angeles, it happens.

This is a strange sighting, currently watching Selling Houses Australia, they are doing a home in Dolphin Point approx. 3.5hrs south of Sydney & in a shot of the traffic in town was the back of a Yellow Stinger driving away from the camera.
