Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

LOL.. .what the heck is the emblem sticking out on the front ? looks like some monstrosity leaning towards the E badge.
Looks like the unholy alliance of a jaguar and a Bentley badge, maybe?

Can anyone read the signature on the fender?

Hey, but at least they got rid of the visual clutter of the fake hood vents.

Its a base 2.0 so it had no fake hood vents to begin with.

The thing sticking out on the front bonnet looks like a flying dragon, like those on Game Of Thrones, also looks like the front bonnet may not be the factory original, so the owner no longer has the fake vents to replace them with fake bonnet scoops, can't make out what the 3 things on the side panel are, maybe the owner is trying to make it look like the side vents on the Maserati, finally on the rear hatch above the Stinger badge there is a Jaguar badge, maybe the owner likes big p*ssy cats...?

Oops! Our 2.0s do have them. I never noticed that yours don't.
Really! I never noticed either. Months ago there was a pic posted of a Stinger without the hood "vents". I can't recall where it was, but think it was in the US. How would a Korean 2.0L Base hood get into the US?

Maybe he/she has a tiny shred of taste then  just realised from previous post the 2.0 doesn't come with the fake vents, ok retract my comment.....doesn't have a shred of taste then ;)

Exactly, why did they slap them on all the exports ? it's like the fake side vents on my Optima, just for decoration, they serve no real function.

The talk about fake vents on the Stinger all focus on the hood. We have those little crescent "moon" "vents" behind our rear wheels too. When I was reading the promo book, the distinct impression I got was that the brakes have vents, front and rear, to aid in cooling. Then the rear vents end up being dummies. If this were not a common ploy of automobile manufacturers I'd not get over my annoyance. But the Stinger is in "good company".

I still want my brake vents to vent. If anyone ever comes up with functional rear brake vents I'll be interested in the mod. Hood vents too, of course.

It looks very jumbled and not very cohesive at all, the owner obviously digs Dragons and big puddy cats .

I know this is OT but the emblem reminds me of something........my baby Eastern long neck turtle " Franklin " he is peeping out from under his lily pad.....

Just travelled 1034kms from Sydney to Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast in QLD & I only saw 2 Stingers, a Black one yesterday morning at Thornleigh & a White one this afternoon heading south on the Pacific Hwy on the Gold Coast.

Just saw a red awd gt outside the Beer/Wine at Downtown Crown, MD. Left the store heading to my yellow GT and saw him drive by, waved hello and he pulled over to chat. No idea if the dude is on these forums but it's always nice to meet a stranger and talk about cars.

Edit: I had gone there for the verizon store. long story short, new phone wasn't reading the SIM card and had to drive back 30 minteus later. When I got there I saw a white one parked outside. These things are everywhere now! The more the merrier (as long as mine's the only yellow one!)

Saw a red on Bells Ferry waiting to cross Chastain yesterday. They were a few back from the light when I crossed in front of them..

I guess this is a reverse sighting..

I was sitting at a light today with my kid in the car when a rather attractive young woman in a Ford with North Carolina tags pulled up to me and gushed how much she loved the car. She went on and on....

She did say that he new car was going to be a Stinger.

The light then turned green and she took off like a shot while I sat there contemplating how to get the kid to clam up so she didn't relay the story to the wife.

That was a rather enthusiastic woman.

I love South Florida.

11.45am, I was travelling on the Tullamarine Fwy here in Melbourne, I was travelling in the exit lanes to the last exit before Melbourne Airport, I see a HiChroma Red StingerGT behind me, so lucky I had no other car behind me, I start slowing so the Stinger passes me before I exit, must admit the HiChroma Red looks nice in person, it's reg was DON***, I once saw a red Stinger at the Essendon football club in Tullamarine, so maybe that could be the same one, hence the number plate ?

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

OMG there's no accounting for taste.

On 747 yesterday sitting on 747 at the light to Tylersville. Black 2.0 right next to me in the next lane. Woman driving wouldn't look over my way to save her life. I'm pretty ugly, but damn, was just going to give her a thumbs up.

My wife saw both red and silver ones in the north/central Arizona area yesterday. I've seen a red one a couple of times, but never while in mine. Not a good story, but that's all I've got!
