Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

On the way back from the Hunter yesterday I saw a white one heading north on M1. Thought it had pink plates. What a horrible road with all those roadworks taking place.

We also saw a red one just after we got off the M1, passed her on Pennant Hills Road at about Thornleigh.

Tell me about it, I drive through a section of it every time I go to and from work, and if I have to go down to the Gosford exit I’ve got to go through the other section of it. It’ll be good once it’s done but the road should’ve been built 3 lanes wide in the first place.

What a great turn out. Im amazed at the rarity of the sunset yellow, even in AUS, where it was offered as an option.
Would you believe coming home from the run and being back in Sydney in the space of 10 mins i saw 3 stingers none off them from the meet. Ceramic silver w/red leather, Hichroma red eye balled a frumpy old maid at the lights but no wave she looked like a bulldog. And minutes later on the M4 a micro blue in the middle lane, i pulled along side and we exchanged nods.

I live in Southeast Florida, about 50 miles north of Miami, where one sees a lot of beautiful cars: Lambos, Ferraries, Bentleys, Rolles, BMWs, Audis, MBs, but I have yet to see a Stinger, no less a GT. Which is alright with me as I hope not to see a GT until I get my GT2 in August.

I am in Lake Worth/West Palm and I see a grey one and a white one pretty regularly. Waved and said hi... got the "South Florida Stink-eye" in return.

Well the NYC Stink-eye really, but those of you here know what I mean.

The rest of us need educating. "Stink eye"? Sounds like a description of some kind of "better than thou" reaction to being friendly.

Yep...

It is roughly translated as - "Who are you and why are you looking at me, you unwashed plebian?"

Typical Southerners are usually friendly enough. Usually the guys who are unfriendly or the suspicious lot tend to travel from more Northern climates.

So down here we must be very damn friendly:laugh::rofl::laugh:

Downright accommodating really.

Had an Australian girlfriend once. What an interesting summer that was.

I married one , 26 years tomorrow.

You lucky devil you were kept interested for an entire summer:p

This is about "Stingers in the Wild", not chicks in the wild. Come on, back on topic! ;)

Chicks in the wild, or wild chicks?

I am torn between being happy and depressed. My son told me that he saw a silver Stinger yesterday, then my daughter told me that she saw a blue one. And then I witnessed the hard truth for myself. I no longer have the only blue Stinger in my small AZ town. This brings the total to 7, including mine.

Happy that others are learning of the joys of owning a Stinger. Depressed that I am losing the uniqueness of mine...

Yes indeed its a common syndrome know around these parts as Stungnotaloness. Cure is quite simple :Take one green light, a twist of sports mode, suppression of Traction control add full depression of throttle pedal. Symptoms should dissipate shortly afterwards. Failing this tell the kids to shut up.:D:D

Saw a Ceramic Grey Stinger in Ohio while driving back from South Carolina on Sunday. Weather was crappy so it was initially hard to get a pic (and my buddy who was driving is also a horrible driver :)). Finally caught up to it and was able to get a good pic.Stinger in the Wild.webp

Saw a white Stinger heading the opposite direction about 15 min later.
