Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Were you in your Stinger? That is key to not having others think you're a maniac.

I suppose I left out that critical detail. Yes I was in my Stinger...but maybe I'm also a bit of a maniac for honking at other Stinger drivers! Maybe it's really "just a car" to most other people?

I've had returned enthusiasm or at least a side on grin when I "stalk" another Stinger. But I am sure you're right about most people: it's just a car to them.

I chase down fellow stingers when I see them. Always trying to wave or honk. Surprisingly the ones who swapped emblems dont wave or honk back. I've encounter 2 stingers still kia and they waved or honked.

I wouldn't read too much into that. I put on the E badges (or as I like to say, the true badges) and on the rare occasion I see other Stingers I wave or give a thumbs up or catch up to them to do so.

Agree. My latest sighting that resulted in pics and a greeting was with the Ceramic Grey, and he initiated the howdy do: his car has the "K" badges. @Gordo's Black has the "E" badge.

Spotted the one and only Stinger (Micro Blue GT) I've seen in Memphis for the third time. Drove up next to him, rolled down the window and asked him how he liked the Stinger. He said, "She's peppy". He was a dork ... I floored it and was gone!

Was behind a ceramic silver at a stoplight in Rockville, MD this morning. Guy was looking down at his cell phone and didn't noticed me, but once I was up the road a ways I saw him flash his lights. Had the rear badge swapped, looked like black chrome side mirrors so must have been a GT, but the GT badge was removed. Hadn't seen that combination before.

I've seen a few but not quite a handful that's for sure. What do you guys do when you finally see one going the opposite of you - do you guys WAVE? flash high-beams?.. when I used to own a Lancer EVO, every Evo owners I come across waves or flash high-beams. Same goes with the Subie WRX/STi's group and Jeep Wranglers.

I've been watching cars.com like a hawk I'm willing to travel 200 miles if the price is right. My only gripe right now is the ONLY GT models they have are all in freaking blue. I don't need GT1 or GT2 I just need the 3.3 Turbo and the hatchback and I'm set, the GT model offers that at the cheapest price but I'm not buying a damn blue one. So whenever Kia can get their shit together and offer all models in all colors then I'll buy.

yup.. that's exactly what I Have - GT Base RWD. I could care less about the feature pack it comes with I WANTED THAT 3.3TT BEAST!

The mandatory white stinger gt spotted in Penrith. In high st : DHV--- 12.27pm Friday.
This suburb is bristling with white stingers.

And yes on the short return trip home another white Gt "Monny" in red lettering on black at Emu plains. 5 minutes later an impostor on my street Silky silver Gt DVZ--- at Emu Heights. No badge swap on any of the three and all middle aged women.
