Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Visited my local Kia Dealership where i bought my StingerGT, they were really busy, just had a quick word with the salesman who sold me mine, but saw this Deep Chroma Blue StingerGT identical to mine just sitting there all alone in the wild, not getting any attention but from me..lol, it had a price tag hanging in the rear window, of AUD $59,990 Driveaway, with only 633 kms, there was also a Ceramic Grey StingerGT in the showroom, no price on it, but had a look at the Build Date: May 2018. Seems like my local dealership might be taking stock from other dealers, with a build date of May 2018, looks like Stingers not exactly rushing out of the showrooms ?

When Kia had the track day I felt sorry for the cars there that day, I wouldn't want to buy one of those after they'd been around the race tracks in different states.

Going home from Cars & Coffee L.A. had a little run in with a white Stinger on the 10 Freeway. A little horn and flashing lights. It was all good. Then he sped up a little and I wanted to go but got cut off by an SUV then trapped on the left and right side. Sigh. I waved good bye.

Saw a black Stinger that was blacked out on I-65 the other day. I had a hard time figuring out what it was when it was coming up behind me, it was a base model with those round projectors and it looked like he had installed some HID bulbs. Can't say I was a big fan.

Slightly off-topic, but I saw my first G70 this morning. Although it's certainly a nice looking car, I almost assumed it was just another 5-series, based on my initial views from the side and rear. I realize the front end is a little more distinctive, but it definitely isn't nearly as unique as the Stinger.

Yeah, IMO it looks fairly ordinary. The Stinger is a sexy beast.

Today going to LAX to drop off my cousin there. While the traffic is moving slowly i saw a white GT with a black out stinger script in the back coming in the driver side. Roll my window down to give a thumbs up, and get a thumbs up too. Don't know if the owner is in the forum. And then i saw a blue Premium going to 101 south.

I saw a red Stinger GT drive into my neighborhood in NW Houston this evening, I was stuck at a light and couldn't catch up though. It is a bit crazy though as I've never seen a single Stinger within 10 miles of here.

First sighting in 4 months of ownership! Southern Westchester NY route 9a Valhalla/Pleasantville Red GT 1 or 2 with tinted windows and standard badges! I was so excited I couldn't believe my eyes! I pulled along side and was beeping for him to look over but he wasn't paying attention and probably blasting the awesome stereo

Thursday morning spotted a red one on the Pacific Hwy Lisarow headed into Gosford. I was going the other way on the way home from work, shot them a wave but not sure they saw me. Today had a ceramic grey GT, Terrigal Drive, Terrigal this morning, and a Rafa edition in the panthera metal same spot this afternoon, but I was working and not in my Stinger. It’s the most I’ve seen around my area, the last time I spotted one was Christmas Eve, a silky silver, also at Terrigal.

4.20pm Saturday Emu plains shopping centre a Silky silver with std number plates and Kia badges, first of that colour seen in this district, usually of white plumage.

This morning, I went to Magic Clean to get the dust off my car (in time for this afternoon's rain and tomorrow's predicted snow!), and there it was, parked out front. My fourth solo sighting (without anybody helping me):


Mine, waiting all dried off. In the background is the Ceramic Silver and the apartments across the street: which one of the Magic clean guys said is where the owner lives. He also said that they had a Black Stinger before this one. Hmm!? Notice the rapidity with which the "K" skin was put on (there's a matching one in front): the temporary registration doesn't expire till March. Maybe they had the skins on their Black and removed them. (This CS needs a bath; irony, since it is parked out in front of where I have an unlimited monthly pass.)

I’m standing across the street from my house talking to a neighbor. My car is running in the driveway at nigh (REAR LED LIGHTS FULLY VISIBLE).

and the same red stinger DRIVES around us.

Clearly they don’t care about the stinger socially. Like roll your damn window down and be neighborly with a “what’s up... nice stinger”.

I fear it is someone who doesn’t even care about cars. Just something they bought to get from A to B.
