Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

I will trade in my Optima Platinum and have been saving money in a separate account especially for the Stinger and my hubby said he'll give me extra. That's why I don't mind waiting a bit so I can get enough for the car I really want. ( of course if I won tattslotto tonight, I'd be at the dealership tomorrow ) So your'e not silly at all, like me your'e being sensible .
I also waited till I made it through recovery of my two surgeries and 30 sessions of radiation therapy :-)

Right there with you mate. Rectal cancer survivor and the stinger was my cancer free gift.
Congrats!

I have my first CT scan after radiation in January. Hopefully, nothing will show up. My surgeon was confident he got it all with the surgeries, so much so that only one side of my throat got radiation and I didn't need chemo.

But we will know much more next month.

You need to PM Stinger GT SS he went thru similar. You will be ok, 5 years is the key then officially in Remission. Wonderful news for you!

Same here, found stage 4 tumour on the base of my tongue in March 2015, had surgery to remove the bulk of it then seven weeks of radiation & chemo, so after just over 3.5 years I am currently progressing well with no sign of the tumour & yes its 5 years of check ups & reviews until they use the “R” word.
I trust all goes well for you with your CT scan in January.

All three of you guys have gone through so much, I hope all goes well for you Jimmer in January with your results. Wishing you all the best of health and happiness. I lost a loved one to cancer a few years back, he fought hard but the battle was too great. He was my dad, he will always be in my heart and that's the main thing.

Live for the day. "Sufficient is the day for the evil therein." (Meaning, don't borrow trouble thinking about tomorrow, and deal with the challenges of today; I take it to also mean, "Don't sweat the small stuff.") Don't worry about five years and getting "official remission". It doesn't work that way. I sprung for the MY18 last March, precisely because I am through waiting for anything. Do it NOW. Tomorrow never comes. (Good luck and blessings on everyone who have taken heroic measures to have Today; may you feel well and have energy and drive for the simple pleasure of doing it; go as fast as you like as often as you like - and be safe!)

Thank you for the kinds word, and sorry about your Dad.

I appreciate all the well wishes given by everyone and glad to hear that those of you going through it as well are doing well. I feel fortunate mine was caught very early (by pure accident, BTW). I try to look at it like this...instead of this being such a bad year cause I found out I have cancer and everything I went through dealing with it, it was a very good year because what if it wasn't caught till much later?

And yes, it has changed me a lot. I believe, in a good way. So I try to focus on thee positives. Better for me and for my family to do that.

I saw the ceramic silver (gray) and a white like mine today. What the heck! I thought this was supposed to be an exclusive?

Think of it this way you've inspired them with your presence, each time we drive we are a walking (Driving ) advertisement for the vehicle. Others then catch the Stinger bug.

You have a point..

I can see this happening sometimes. E.g. Friday I stopped at Costco (a veritable ZOO, hardly a parking spot in sight; finally found an end stall in the far "north forty" :)), and as I got out I saw a couple also getting out of their car. They were c. fifty feet away, ahead of me, and the guy kept turning back to look at my car. I wasn't trying to catch up, and they didn't wait, but I could tell that he was torn between minding his own business and bothering a stranger (me) to ask about the car. :D People who know about the car, and finally see one, can't keep from staring at it.

People who don't know about it, can't keep from staring at it, either.

I'm running out of fingers and toes to keep track of people asking me about it! And I have three vehicles I rotate through, so it's not like I'm out in her every day!

Driving home this afternoon, and not in my Stinger, saw some Stingers, but not in the wild, passed by the local Kia dealership, and they had this Sunset Yellow GT-Line, not brand new with 13531klms on it, Oct '17 build date, the rego expires on 27/04/2019 and they are asking AUD $49,990 including AUD $2016.30 Motor Duty Fee and AUD $39.70 Transfer Fee, too high a price to ask ?

Also spotted a Panthera Metal RAFA Edition and a Deep Chroma Blue GT in the holding yard.

Decided after that to visit the Ford dealership and check out the Mustangs, the next two photos are of four brand new Mustangs.

The next two photos are of the ten used Mustangs.

I just might go back tomorrow and ask them, if the Sunset Yellow has been repainted, the dealership had an exact same vehicle sitting outside for months earlier this year, wondering if it is the same Stinger, might even ask about the Deep Chroma Blue GT sitting in the holding yard, whether it is for a customer or not...:)

Are you a fan of Mustangs too ? I originally wanted one when they were first being imported here, but the reviews and the crap safety rating they had at the time put me off. Also felt they were impractical for my situation as I have my kids with me a lot and a two door coupe would be a pain. I'm not keen on two door cars anyway because if it was in an accident, I always would worry if the back seat passengers would get trapped.

All too common too, I see at least 3 or 4 every day wherever i drive.
